Twin Cities Marathon is awesome. It is point to point, starting downtown Minneapolis and ends at the Capitol in St. Paul. It is not the fastest course but it is beautiful and very well organized.
I took part in the Tracksmith Amateur Mile in London in May. A guy had a cardiac arrest in the first race (he was taken to hospital and recovered 👍) but similar to you, they consolidated three waves into one so I was back of the pack of about 25 runners. My race was also delayed an hour and I ran a terrible time (6:50). It was still a great experience though. Congratulations on 4:57, that’s epic!
What about some ultra trail races? Have you ever considered seeing how you would do with a little vert thrown into the mix? I’m running the gorge waterfall 50k in April😅

Lincoln Marathon! I'll be there :)
oooooooo
Would be cool to see you running Berlin Marathon.
Midwest…got to do something in St. Louis and I’d make that trail transition sooner than later bc you’ll regret not doing that earlier in your life 😉
I’m doing the Chicago Spring Half Marathon in May! It was great last year
Which one?? I just signed up for the one in Schaumburg on May 7th!
when ur time appeared I smiled so hard
Mini Indy half marathon! Super flat and fast! I think the largest half marathon in the Midwest as well?
Good to know!
Is Carmel Indiana too far. There’s a Boston qualifier and a half marathon here in spring. I think it’s in May.
I was looking at that one!! I just might make that happen :)
50K possibly? The Summer Sasquatch in Salt Fork, OH is rough, but fun!
I don't know if this is the year to jump into ultras for me. I totally want to do them in the future though. :)
Ah I ran at that track when I was in High School! All my PR's happened at Ichan
Woah!! So epic! It was such an incredible experience.
This year I broke the record which was 4:38. But right now I need to focus on strnaght cause big thing is coming this year. Trail run race 240km
