Relentless! Not just the running, but also the video schedule
⚡️⚡️⚡️
Congrats on y the PR, and for not quitting! When I’m wanting to quit, I’m reminded of David Goggin’s idea that when you want to quit, you’re only at 40% effort. It got me through the pain of his 4x4x48 challenge. I use several of his quotes when my long runs get difficult. Well done even when you had some recent hurdles! 👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks so much! That’s a great perspective- so true
Love the lighting and grade here.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Good run. I feel like a lot of TH-cam runners only focus on the marathon and I'm like there's more to running than just marathons haha! Also, a lot of them don't do B or C races, so I'm glad you spoke about this isn't a peak race, but still went in and battled. Sometimes you do a race to get a bit of speed or a new PR or to see where your fitness is or just for fun. Personally, I think it's important to have these other races, so there isn't so much pressure to perform on one day.
Still super impressive time! It was hot this weekend here as well, so I took it easy pacing a friend. For sure you’re gonna hit the 2:40 mark!
Bloody love that energy you gave to your pal 🥲 and I also may steal your counting 60 seconds backwards next time I’m “bread-mining” 😂
Great performance on this one!!! Congratulations on your new PR. Like u said taking to consideration u just ran marathon few weeks ago…💪👍👏
Thank you!! Yeah, super interested in seeing what the attempt in September looks like! thanks for watching!!
The algorithm led me here, Congratulations on your run!
I ran Bloomsday (12k) this weekend in 1hr 16, my first run in 25 years. 2 months of training, building up my 53 year old knees and ankles. I have my eye on my first ever half marathon this Fall. Keep making content, you never know who you’ll inspire.
Co grats on your PR! You will smash this later half of 2023.
Hope so! Looking forward to summer training ⚡️
Highly underrated channel. Great production quality, more subs will come!
Great video quality and I appreciate all the tracksmith garbs throughout!
Don't know how I wasn't already subbed to this channel. Let's GOOOO!
I’m just coming across your channel now and absolutely love the content. Keep it up, dude! I’d love to run with you one day.
Legend bro! The space look's dope. Keeping an eye out for the Shua video
Thanks man!! So excited with how the studio is coming along 🤙🏼
Congrats! Keep cranking these videos. It's been fun following your running!
Good job! When you make new PB it's always great run!
It's easier when you think about your goal, not barrier. The barrier blocks our head, goal gives motivation. And my trick when i need to cheat my head, because it's really hard to run - i say to myself "if you hold the pace, it's not a crysis". And repeat it, and again and again. It's something like yours "if not now when" :D
So true!!
Don't know if you remember me. But I ran the Chicagoland half marathon as well. I was the kid that ran his first half marathon and got 1.33. We talked for a few seconds after i finished
You’ve got this in Sept no doubt!! & yay Shua! 🎉
It was a good PR. Easily 60-90 quicker on cool day and proper HM training.
100% - Hoping I'm much closer to that 1:18 benchmark in September.
The setup is soo clean bro, running first Half Marathon in September
Bandit gear looking spicy 🔥
That singlet is fantastic.
love that Bandit kit
Thank you for sharing this!
That paint job on the wall gave me anxiety though 😅
Congratulations on your PR 💪💪! Hopefully i can crack 1:20 also next week!
Go get it!!
How did it go?
@@hump1201 cracked 1:21.37. Bested my previous PR by 4min30 from 2020.
@@zero34runnr great job, keep working hard!
This is s good format for you doing the race recap.
Don’t know why I’m here so early but love your work 🔥
Thanks for watching!!
Great content , what was your time last year, don’t think you said ?
Shua looked so healthy when you picked him up!
Races are fun! I ran the flying pig half on Sunday and got dumped on rain. Race even got paused. But it was fun high-diving all the brave souls who came out to watch.
Great Job !!
I ran 1:17 last thanksgiving. Took everything out of me.
Super fast
He’s rocking bandit 😏 he knows something
Boom
The legend himself!
Heart rate from wrist or chest? Nice race.
What surgery do you recover on in a week? inspiring second place, hardest runs to know when you know you’re on pace
* do
Hey! are you running this race again this year???
Sadly no
@@flobergruns Ah bummer! Running my second full marathon there this weekend. Love your content, keep it up man! Congrats on Boston!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Therapeutic Use Exemption for the Claritin 😉
How do you not have 10mill followers..
your heart rate likely spiked from the claritin. obviously tons of other factors here but i’m sure that played a part.
Woah. I had no idea that was a side effect. That's SO good to know. Thanks for the insight!!
@@flobergruns NP! I've noticed antihistamines impacting my RHR in the past when looking at my Oura ring data. Just a guess here but I'm sure it had some impact given your fitness.
@@flobergruns most over-the-counter antihistamines have decongestants like pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine and in some cases they can elevate your heart rate temporarily, according to the FDA.
"I actually saw the guy that was in second place I don't know, maybe a quarter mile ahead of me"
- So about 400 metres then?
