But the plushie cotton I think already flattened inside & the fur is dirty & dusty. Because I fear washing it myself would just damaging it further.
My dog stuffie has the tail attached the same, I think. It's currently hanging on by a metaphorical and soon to be literal thread, any tips on how to sew it back on?
Maybe you can use a sticky roller to remove the hair that already fell out, or you can wash the toy. But if the fur continues to fall, it is likely that the material is not very good

You can try to open it and take out the cotton, wash the fur then stuff new cotton inside
