Honestly, a US$90 mouse with swappable switches sounds _awesome_ considering I've had to buy a new $50~$60 mouse every 1.5 years for the past 14 years (I swear mice lasted longer before that) because one of the switches would fail. $90 up front and just $5 to replace the switches when they fail? I'm all for that, assuming they continue support for those switches.
I'll give credit to Razer I've owned the same mamba Ultimate since 2018, and that one I got from an RMA when the side grip peeled off on my 90 dollar Mamba TE. Insanely durable mice
I've noticed that too. My old mouse lasted 7 years before the switches started failing and the one after that only lasted 1 year. My current mouse, Logitech g305 only lasted 1.5 years. Now I just buy new switches and solder them myself every time one fails .
I use my mouse almost all day, 7 days a week, excessively. My cheap basic Logitech G203 mouse has no issues 3 years later, and the mouse I had before this one was also heavily used and it stopped tracking properly long before the switches went.
I've owned 2 razer deathadders, my first only died after 2 years because my keyboard tray on my desk fell off the hingers and landed on the mouse, my other I've had for 3 years and everything still works, if anything the only issues I've ever had with a mouse was with the scroll wheel
I was thinking god no at $90 for that mouse but then came back around to thinking how many mice the buttons have died on me. If its a nice mouse and you like it then it actually might be well worth that price and getting a few packs of spare switches. I mean that and you can replace the shells if you either want a different one or just need a new one from age or damage. Its a steep price but in the long run its provides its value.
I've had to replace my mouse multiple times, cause I failed at replacing the micro switch. Finally this last time I got it right. Hopefully it survives the next swap, cause its discontinued, and a replacement mouse is over 100 bucks. xD

I mean let's imagine for a second that the shape was actually comfortable for me (That one is not, but lets say it is), if you think about mice and if you use them heavily they work great for about 2.5-3 years before the switches in them become extremely finichy. Now while I am currently using a Logitech G502 wired mouse which costs about $40, the wired version right now is about $60-80 depending on where you buy it let's call it on the higher end at $75 for easy math So lets look at the price of the mouse again, switches $5 shell $6 mouse $90 total $90+6+5= $101 lets just call it $100 So let's look at the price you pay for 3, 6, and 9 years and lets just assume after 9 years the rest of the guts die due to having soda spilled on them one too many times. 0-3 years G502 wireless- $75 This on -$100 4-6 years G502 $150 This one $105 7-9 years G502 $225 This one $110... Now I would never buy it because the shape is all wrong for my hand and comfort is needed when using a product 10 hours a day 6 days a week for decades, but the point is that 19 times out of 20 the reason you need to replace your mouse when you are paying more than $20 for it is because the switches wear out and every thing else is perfectly workable as such even if you entirely replace the mouse after the 6 year mark if you can double the life of the mouse by having changable switches then that inital $100 is totally reasonable.
Thats was also my reasoning haha. I hope we see this as a new trend in not just gaming mice but mice in general, would love to see major brands at least make a few models that offer universal replaceable switches (the switches in them are already universal and the same in most of them as it is just not swappable).

The sticky note printer may be helpful for people with mobility impairing disabilities such as Parkinson’s. Some people aren’t able to easily jot down notes or type but still find “written” reminders helpful.
fyi, the “rtx 3080” tier of geforceNow doesn’t actually perform as well as a real 3080, so it’s the laptop way of naming things where you stick the same name on 2 (or this case many more) products despite them not being the same thing

Ooo I would love for easily swappable mouse switches to become a thing. I love my current mouse. Been using it for years and years. But my index finger is so heavy, that the switch dies within about a year. I've tried replacing it in the past, but I wasn't as good as soldering back then. I overheated the traces and burned them off, or tore them when I thought they were free. So I've had to buy the mouse 3 or 4 times. This last time I replaced the switch cleanly enough that I think it will survive another swap. But if it doesn't.. Logitech doesn't make the mouse anymore, and so the cheapest I can find it is around 100 bucks. (I used to be able to get it for like 30 bucks) It's the G602. I don't care much for performance, I just want long battery life. I leave it in eco mode, and don't have to worry about the battery for half a year.

You're just plain wrong about the price for this. Not only its relatively close to the price of big brand wireless mices like the logitech g pro wireless or superlight, but it also pretty much guarantees a way longer lifespan as switches are the number 1 reason mices die. Its almost always the first thing to go. At the prices of those switches, i actually want to know more about this mouse. If the battery life is good and the wireless connectivity is fast, this is actually very interesting

🙄Just because the chromebook connects to GeForce Now DOESN"T make it a gaming computer! That pretty much like saying that because my iPhone 5 could connect to GeForce Now, it's now a GAMING PHONE!! Chromebook is good for lightweight things, and connecting to an external gaming server is a lightweight task for a pc with a lack of internal guts to compute the complicated mathematical equations needed to natively run games itself! Chromebooks are probably the LOWEST form of computer tech you can get today, and Fortnite BLOWS ASS; Overwatch and Team Fortress are FAR better.
