I wonder how much space was used for the heating aspect of those ear pods, and if making an heating add on that'd just used for the fit (then returned to reduce waste?) Would have allowed better long term earpods, as having something for just setup seems like a bit of a waste

Wanted to give you a shout out because I started watching your Mystery Tech videos for fun, then your PC builds, then some videos on tech so I better understood terminology, and now I suddenly find myself studying for the CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ Exam even though I studied business in college. So, thank you -- your passion for tech clearly rubbed off on me. Also, through you I learned about Micro Center and now exclusively go there for my computer needs.

Being hard of hearing, masks make it hard to communicate so being able to see the mouth to read lips is actually really helpful. Usually I try avoid conversations with everyone wearing masks because I feel everyone gets annoyed repeating themselves to me so I like what they have done.

To be fair, I also struggle with that issue of not being able to see as someone speaks and I have probably a little better than average hearing, and not seeing I have a hard time following/understanding what someone is saying to me and frequently have to ask them to repeat themselves (till to embarrassed to ask again). As humans we rely on many tools to communicate that we are not aware of like seeing the person speaking, both their mouth and their body. Probably why multitasking well talking on a phone is much harder than if the person is in the room with you :)
I find I have the same issue even with having both hearing aids in with the volume cranked. I'm glad that I'm not the only one drifting around on here that feels the same in regards to talking to people. We're in this boat together, my friend! I'm sure that people will understand having to repeat themselves to you and won't get annoyed.
Yep I had the same thought as a buddy of mines dad owns a janitorial business that I worked for as a teenager and he read lips.
I think if you have known someone who reads lips you instantly think of this, if not you don't know any better.

They’re definitely the same product. It’s slightly more premium but not for over double the price of a Steam Deck. The person talking off screen was definitely shilling for the first product a bit too much.
He wasn't really "shilling" for it, he was just try to offer an alternative take other than just buying the steam deck, I believe they call it plaing devils advocate.

Why the hell would you make a mask that magnifies the mouth? Razer had cool idea with a mask but the magnification kills it right away.

Now that i think about it, I understand why Razer made the mouth part of the mask more easily seeable, it's to makes it easier for people who are deaf and lip read, is it over the top? yeah definitely, but that would be a selling point for some people.

About that razor mask, it seems to have positive pressure from the fans, which is the same concept in a PAPR for gas masks which turns a gas masks negative pressure into positive, where instead of you doing all the breathing , it does most of it for you and so you can breath easier

IEMs now a days (not the custom mold ones) usually cost around sub 20USD upto 200USD. You can actually get a way good listening daily driver IEM music listening with the 100buck tier IEMs from China/Japan.

Correction: The first batch (first 500 shipped to backers) of Aya Neos had digital triggers and such, but an upgrade kit was made for those in the first batch. This upgrade kit allowed first batch to switch their triggers to analog triggers, gave them a new shell, screen, and a few other things. 2nd batch had analog out of the gate. The analog triggers were developed by the new owner of the company, Arthur Zhang. The digital triggers were part of the design when Uncle A was still the owner before he sold the company to Arthur.
