Thanks for watching!
Marble, marble everywhere! And no shaving cream required! A terrific product and fab demo!!
Thank you!
I’m just now playing around with Easy Marble and it’s great but I learned outside in high humidity was not good as the open time was much less. Worked good on my Chinese writing paper. Thanks Julie!
Wow!!! Outstanding and now I'm ready to order the paint and get started lol. Thanks for sharing your experiments and comments. It gives us a good idea of what these paints can do!
Not only do I love the product & all your results.....I LOVE you enthusiasm!!!!
Can't help it. It's so cool!
Hi julie
This is also fun to do with dollar store nail polish and coffee mugs.
How
Years ago
I sprayed : spray paint in a bucket of water.
I made marbled Christmas ornaments using
Cast off random balls. People raved.
So you’ve inspired me ... terra cotta pots would be crazy great.
I have just bought a kit and after watching this, I am just so excited to use it.
Have fun!
I've never done marbling before, but I sure want to try it now. I can think of so many things to do with it. You have indeed created another monster. Thanks so much for sharing.
I love that you try new products and I loved your reaction to seeing the results for the first time with us. You rock!!!
I had fun!
I have had this set for a while I will be using them soon. So much fun awesome!!!
Love this! I was so excited when you did the rocks at the end because I paint kindness rocks!

I did not expect a lot so I was super surprised how awesome it worked! Thanks for sharing!
Same here!
This is absolutely fantastic. I’m going to try it. But what all paper can you use. Can I use shelf lining paper? Can you use it as wrapping paper. The buttons are lovely. And the stones. Wow!!👍🙀🏴
Hello Julie, I want to start out saying that I just discovered your show "MAKE IT ARTSY" last year in 2020, and I saw this on 1 of the episodes, on how to "HYDROPAINT/MARBLE PAINTING" and I thought to myself, that's so awesome and I would love to try this type of painting!! Cause I also started landscape painting with acrylics and of course I had to also try my hands at painting the awesome & the most infamous "WET ON WET" Bob Ross's technique of painting!! Then when I saw the episode of your show "MAKE IT ARTSY" on how to "HYDROPAINT/MARBLE PAINTING" I instantly got goosebumps and said to myself, I have to try this awesome style & technique of painting, and I went to my craft store one day to stock up on my other painting needs and that's when I finally saw it in the store, "THE MARABU-EASY MARBLE" painting kit, and it was the last 1, so I quickly snatched it up and can't wait to do my 1st marble painting!! Thanks to you and your show "MAKE IT ARTSY" I am finding new ways to be creative and paint, and now that I've found a few of your TH-cam channels, I'll be watching even more!! Thank you Julie fei-fan Balzer for sharing the things that are ARTSY!! Much love & respects!!!
This would make awesome one of a kind fabric pieces for your art quilt projects. Loved the rocks and the buttons. Don’t know what I would use the rocks for but they are way cool.
I'm thinking for jewelry.
Well you done it again, you made a big splash this time. You do just a great job on anything you do.
It was easy. I hardly did anything!
Looks like so much fun!
It is!
Which colour you have used??... It's wonderful✨😍
Omg.....I’m getting this kit. I was on the fence. Much thanks
I love these marbling inks!!!!
Me too!
Very cool. Looks much easier than the older techniques for marbling. I watched another video where the person dipped the items in rather than laying them on top of the surface. They still got a really cool effect.
Thanks so much! I used to do Suminigashi years ago but it's tricky and is only for paper. This looks like so much fun, who just went to Amazon and...
Those colors are fantastic girlfriend !!!!
Love the rock designs
Your reaction at 5.26 is everything 😂👌🏽
AWESOME! I'm going to have to try this! I love the look of marbled paper and it always seemed too messy to try. This looks easy and affordable. Thanks Julie!
Amen!
Wow! Love the beautiful results! TFS
Me too!
Can’t wait to try this! I’ve had the materials for months. Just need the time to do it!
I love this process
Great Video!! Perfect timing since I am putting together a Kids Art Camp...This will be on the agenda for sure!
Have fun!
Great vide! I shall get this set!
Sooo cool!👍🍹
These are just wonderful! Easier to use then the shaving cream marbling Thanks~
Thanks!
Thanks Julie! That was a super fun video! I will have to check it out and see how many colors are available. Love the metallics! :)
I thought the gold was gorgeous!
Gorgeous results! Love the tags and the rocks!
Me too!
Wow!!! Love it!!!
Me too!
Julie, I think you've created several monsters. :) I'm now a marblin' fool, and I don't even have the stuff yet.
LOL!
Myste Mystele Me too! I can’t wait. Now I’m wondering if I can use my art supplies instead of buying the kit. ??
Ohjdkathfdrteq uyrdusysyskljfksrylfrekhsu
Ok, that's beyond awesome, I love this! Soooo many options, and it looks amazing!
It's super fun!
Thank you for the video - very inspiring!
Mojo Di ... I, personally, like rice paper but I guess it depends on your project!
😂 you're so funny!!! I have a marble kit that I'm going to try on paper to wrap my grandson pressy😍🤗
Everything is AWESOME!!
I couldn't believe how easy it was!
I found this product in November, was curious what you would think since you had done "real" marbling. I thought it was great fun and you gave me some more ideas to try! It is also available at Pat Catans.
Glad you're loving it!
Joggles.com has the best prices and full selection. Right now they are on sale for only 1.50 a bottle, just received mine and going to try them out
Very cool, might need to try this☮️
yes, you do!
Hello I loved this . Does it work with regular acrylic paint ?
Love this video and your enthusiasm. Jerry’s Artarama has them for a better price than Amazon
Thanks!
Word to the Wise: those buttons are gorgeous. . .but non washable and non dry cleanable. . .the ones I did 20 years ago, I placed on 100% wool scarves that I had hand knit and that I wore over turtlenecks. I still have the scarves and the buttons on them. . .i have washed the scarves by hand 4 times in 20years and removed the buttons every time. I obtained the inks at a workshop in Westlake Ohio when I lived nearby and cannot find them in my storage unit. But I plan on getting the kit that this wonderful lady demo’ed and doing some projects with my granddaughter.
It makes you want to try!
thats brilliant ..thankyou ! didn't know there was a ready made product .......
Great video
Sounds like they've created a monster!! 🤣🤣 Cool product!💫✨
I'm marbling everything!
Love it so much!! Lol
Thanks!
I love watching you test new products! And I completely trust your reviews. Could you make the rocks into earrings? Thank you for posting this.

Ooooo.... this is AAAMMMMAAAZING!! I've GOT to have it!!! TFS!
Right?!
Wow!!!! So amazing. Try it on a t-shirt next🤗😍
I don't think this product is fabric-safe. In other words, I believe it will wash out.
Not sure if this helps.. I've seen people on YT doing sneakers with spray colors (like "rustoleum"?) doing this.. Not sure of the other creators names,( so you can look the vids up-sorry!) but maybe THAT would work for shirts & other clothing as well?
@@mrsjbarrett thank you 😊
@@BalzerDesigns ok. 😊
This is SO FREAKING COOL!!!! Thank you for sharing this.
My pleasure!
you have to work really fast with this product because it does form a skin within a minute or two. Thanks for this, I enjoyed watching you do this - your enthusiasm is catchy :)
The bottle tops are perforated rings that surround the top circle. The top circle allows air to release the paint only. The surrounding circle will DRIP if you tilt it. It's like essential oil bottles ... that way you get a drop at a time! What are the ingredients of the paint? Great vids! :)
You can contact the manufacturer: Marabu in order to find out the ingredients of the paints.
Hey Julie, great video...thanks much. Why do you have to do the "clean-up"? Why can't you just pull out your item, no clean-up, then perhaps put in something else? Not understanding why one mixture, one item only. Appreciate your thoughts on the subject.
My advice when you have questions like that is to try it for yourself and see what happens. If you like the results, do it that way. If you don't, do it the way I did it.
Do u use bottled water or sink water..and how cold..out of thr fridge or room temperature
Tap water. I pay no attention to temperature.
Amazing! I've added to my wish list on Amazon.
You'll love it!
Brilliant video and so funny love your giggle. Your video shows us all that nothing goes to waste thank you for sharing xxxxxx
I love to do that looks cool
lovely video.
Hi, I recently purchased deli paper to add marbling to but the marble ink isn't drying despite leaving it over night, do you have to marble a specific side ie waxed or non waxed? I'm going crazy trying to get decent results
The deli paper I have is the same on both sides.
That company should pay you. This was so cool.
I agree! But they did send me the box for free. :)
Incredible! This is on my wish list now. I tried Jane Davenport and it was horrible and took far too long to set up and was such a disappointment. But this kit is out of this world!!
It truly is easy and awesome!
That is so cool!!!! Got to get me some of that 😁😀
yes, you do!
can i use this on vases and pots?
Great demonstration! Thanks so much.
Hi,where do I purchase the easy marble kit?
I need to have this!!!! WOW!
Found the kit but I can't find the pretty individual colors to buy online. Checked Amazon and there are some available but they are trying to get 30-50 CAD for 1 bottle. I don't think so! Is this a fairly new product? Think it should become more easily available (in Canada)?
It's a German company. Maybe that's why?!
This is so cool.
Agreed!
Very cool! Steve better watch out lest he get marbled next!
LOL!
Por favor como donde se consiguen las pinturas soy de colombia
Will it stick to glass? Or do I have to epoxy after
Just got these colors and that rock idea was new, I will try that as well, looks so good. =)
oh wobo menggukan
which is normal
make sure it's holy
I love your video... I absolutely enjoy the product, but, it has such a short work time, I Almost wonder if adding a touch of Alcohol to the water would keep it workable longer? I have dipped every type of material i have in my home. Try it on an old piece of silk, do on a 90° angle... you'll fall in love! As well as canvas, Jean material... Aweit's Awesome. Oh... and "canvas shoes"
have you tried this on wooden beads?
Any feed back on how it is to write on after it dries? U might do more multi media glueing stamping etc... but im wonderibg if u can write on it ok like with pens markers or colored pencils. If u had any feedback on that id appreciate it. ;)
It's a painted surface, kinda like spray paint. if you put on another coat of some writable substance it will be fine :)
Hello thanks for this video! Question: You had other colors of ink other than the ones that came with that kit. Where do you get those from and what kind of ink/paint is it so I can find it maybe in a different brand if I can't find that one? Thank you!!
They're all Marabu Easy Marble. You can purchase individual colors like gold: amzn.to/38N4KAQ
can i dip plastic? it is a plactic bowl but its shinny
Thank you for the idea about using a foil container! Now I don't need to use a plastic bag anymore to cover my bucket.
Works on Christmas ornaments and Easter eggs too.
Looking forward to the Christmas ornaments!
How do I post a photo?
So awesome AND that you got those results right out of the box! So, I just bought some and HELP - I keep trying and when I swirl (bamboo skewer, plastic paintbrush handle, toothpick, needle...whatever) everything sticks and instead of swirls, the whole layer just comes together on the swirling implement in a big blobby mess, and I'm left with almost nothing but some painty "crumbs" in the water. I'm trying different "touches" of swirling, deeper into the water, more light and surface-y, but still not having any success. Any advice? Thanks :))
OK, I solved my own issue! Kept trying and I found out that I was using too little of the product. When I used more of it, it created a layer of the paint that was thicker and when swirled with a toothpick or bamboo skewer, using a very light touch, there was still some sticking, but not all of the paint drew together in a blob. I also found that first doing some passes straight up and down or across the pan was helpful, and then when I got to the side of the pan, I could use the side to gently detach/knock off any paint that had attached to the stick. (And then wipe the stick) After the initial lines, I could start making more swirls and curves and designs. I'm still getting some messes, but much much better than before.
Glad you worked it out. I found it worked best when I just let go and didn't try to control the swirls.
Thank you for posting this, Deborah! I just tried the 6-bottle kit for the first time today, and honestly was really disappointed. But I think maybe I was too stingy with the paint. That, and I didn't use color pick-up sheets after I placed my paper on the water, which meant a mess along the edges of all my sheets when I removed them from the pan. Watching Julie's video and your post has given renewed interest in trying this stuff again, even though I really hate the smell :-)
What's the best paper to use.
Probably watercolour paper as it will soak up any water
Awesome!!!!
Why do you put a piece of paper on top of the smaller pieces and the tag for the edges?
To pick up the excess paint.
Curious if it works on glass. Or if it creates skins. Also where can you buy it?
You can buy it online: amzn.to/2ZR8ePs
I gotta do this!!!
Thanks for this!! You rock.
Thanks!
Hi Julie! This looks like fun! I recently bought a marbling kit at TJMaxx for only 4 dollars. I'm so excited to make some cool marbled things! Ciao, Erica

I got a kick out of you! I bought a marblin kit, haven't tried it yet...what is the paper you used? I look forward to more video's!
Deli Paper: amzn.to/3kswEYY
what is in those bottles ? nail polish ?
When I used a thin wooden skewer to move the Marabu Easy Marble around, the paint just stuck to the skewer more and more as I moved it around. I ended up with most of the paint stuck like a big glob to the skewer and hardly any paint left on the surface of the water. So what am I doing wrong?
Also, it was impossible to clean off with soap and water any paint I got on my fingers, I had to use paint thinners to clean up any mess on my fingers, the skewer and the paint tray.
I have seen other marbling videos where you can move a skewer and parallel nails through a wooden stick around without any paint adhering to these tools. What is it about Marabu Easy Marble that the paint clings on to patterning tools?
I got the same problem let me know if you find anything out
One thing I noticed it works better in warm water but not always
Also can I marble canvas?
IF you use drawing paper for marbling, can you write on it when it is dry?
ya i also want to know about it
What size foil pan did you use? Thanks for sharing, it looks fantastic!
It's about 8.5x11
