Thank you so much!! That technique with oil colors is what I was looking for. When I was a kid I used to do a lot of marble painting in this way. But I had forgotten how I did it. When I looked for instructions I found really complicated stuff with lots of material needed. 😂 I have no idea why I could find only those. Your instructions are so clear. I loved what you made!!! 💖
I loved this video, but viewers are free to show their dislike for whatever reason otherwise there is no freedom of thought or choice. In any case, YT counts thumbs down as interaction so the channel owner still benefits from all feedback.
Wow never thought about using oil. I've seen the shaving creme method before but none as gorgeous as yours. I like the blue density. You are brilliant. Thank you for sharing
Thanks from Pune. Will try it as retirement hobby. Lovely. Thank you. Can we use the chart paper we get in shops ? Or can use any bond paper like sheets ? Thanks
@@indumathynarayanan2759 Thankyou for watching🥰 .. Yes you can use chart papers for experimenting but i would suggest go for thick sheets(150 gsm and above) so the sheets don’t get wrinkled and creased..:)
Thankyou for watching 😊😊 Actually it depends on how nicely you whisk the oil n the color together before pouring it in the water and then let it settle for sometime, don't rush at all and then place the sheet. Also, by adding more oil we might spoil the sheet.😊 Keep Creating🥰 🎨
Using the oil & the oil/enamel paints are unique ideas with beautiful patterns. How does the oil affect the paper? And does it take long for the oil paint to dry?
Hey! Thankyou for watching😊😊 Yes oilnpaints take a day to dry depending on weather conditions too and the paper remains perfectly fine whereas the one with oil paints the first video, sheet becomes a little oily so I used powder to soak the oil off.😊
Thankyou so much for watching🥰 I personally haven’t tried watercolour painting on Marbling but the opaque watercolours you can try, I guess it might work 😊
Looks really beautiful. Thank you for sharing your skills. I might try this with my little daughter as an art project. We can make gifts and cards for friends. Thank you.
Thankyou for watching and for your lovely comment🥰. It really means a lot! Please do try it out with your daughter, she will really enjoy it!! You can make lovely bookmarks, wrapping sheets, endless stuff with it❤🥰
Hey!! Thankyou for watching and please asking questions here are completely fine :). So basically take a thick sheet n marble it n let the marbled sheet dry first, once dried place it between the butter paper sheets/kitchen roll for few days or you can try sprinkling some powder so it can soak in the oil and then brush it off later. I tired these techniques and they somehow worked for me :)
I wonder if could use whipped cream. I think my favorite is the shaving cream. I saw a kit on Facebook and thought I’d do it cheaper by just using what have around the house. I don’t have to buy anything. 😊
Hey! Thankyou for watching 🥰 , these are basic sheets used for doing art, you can buy it from any stationery shop 😊 Names of sheets -ivory, cartridge, handmade sheets.😊
OK so I tried the first technique with water colour paint. It works to a certain extent but you end up with splotches of oil over your paper or basically the whole piece of paper stained with oil. Also what you see on the water won't be transferred exactly to the paper. Some of the colours will be off and it seems very hit and miss. There is definitely benefit to doing it the proper way with carageenan/alum etc
Hey thankyou for watching, yes thats why i used acrylics, it gave better results, also it depends on the different companies/brands of color :) will surely try out with alum, thankyou for sharing.😊😊
Hi Suchika - Just tried the first one with my 5 year old and now that the paper has dried there is a slight oily remnant on the paper. What we can do to make it a little less sticky?
Hey I doubt that, not on all three but on shaving foam technique you can, other two I didn't try, so feel free to experiment and do share your experience!! Also, stay tuned will upload more on marbling 😊
Hey!! Thankyou for watching. In the 3rd technique I used food colors and yes you can use Acrylics, the results are eye pleasing😊 Also, soon I will be conducting a workshop so if you want you can join that, will be updating it on my Instagram account. Keep Creating 🥰👍🏼

that first oil marbeling design was amazing. does adding more oil create more of those large sections of no colour?
Thankyou for watching 😊😊

Enjoyed this - but as to drying - wiping oil off - when? How? Forgive my questions, but have I missed you covering this on your oil-based techniques?

Does oil paint dries well on the paper after let it drying? How long it takes to dry ?
@@artistekarank2628 Hey!! thankyou for watching..😊 Yes it does.. it needs 24hrs to dry depending on how thick the colour is.
I wonder if could use whipped cream. I think my favorite is the shaving cream. I saw a kit on Facebook and thought I’d do it cheaper by just using what have around the house. I don’t have to buy anything. 😊
