Remark Catback + 2JR Midpipe / E210 Corolla (w/ Sound Clips)

- One thing I didn't mention in the video, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting the Remark exhaust hangers to replace the OEM hangers as well so your exhaust does not move around as much while driving.
After initially buying the Remark, then selling it for the 2JR, then selling that for a custom Greddy Catback, we're finally back with the Remark Catback Exhaust. However with the 2J Racing midpipe added to it.
I mic'd up the exhaust but included in cabin audio as well.

I have the same setup. 🎉🎉 you get used to the sound, but also after it wears in the sound quiets down.
Hey man awesome video! Been looking to find someone to film more of the cabin with the 2j mid pipe and remark exhaust. I think I’ll get this for my Corolla too! Did you have to put higher fuel in your car with the 2j midpipe? Or can you still run regular?
Yo!! Thank you!! If you do run the midpipe, I know it's recommended to use 91/93 to avoid the CEL and it was like that for me for the first couple thousand miles if I ran regular fuel. However, I've been using regular 87 fuel for the past month and the CEL never popped up.

Sounds good brah, i bought my car not to mod but this sounds realllly good. I had an exhaust on my GLI and X5 before this corolla, can’t get my heart to mod the corolla.

while the Remark sounds fantastic with the 2JR midpipe, I much prefer the lower volume without the midpipe.

Is the drone significantly louder with the mid pipe on? Sometimes the catback drone is already annoying for me at 70mph cruising.
In my experience, I’d say the midpipe surprisingly helped the drone. Whenever I cruise at 3000 rpms it’s almost dead silent
Did the defouler work on the midpipe or did you get a cel?
Did you buy/use the deflouer on the 2J mid pipe? Also if u got a CEL? Ik getting tuned would solve it but just curious
I used the defouler on the midpipe!! My CEL came on from my Takeda Intake since the idle kinda crazy with the corollas
It didn't turn on codes like the check engine

Yeah the midpipe is resonated!! There is no smell at all lol

is there drone over 60MPH? with and without midpipe? Im leaning toward the quad exit but trying to avoid droneing or little drone
You'll have a lot less drone without the midpipe. With the midpipe, in my opinion, there's a good amount of drone but not enough to annoy me during my 16 hour road trip cruising at 75mph

Honestly can’t tell a BIG difference but if I had to pick, probably the 2JRacing due to how their exhaust system is setup
How long did the 2j take to arrive?
I can’t remember how long exactly but I know it took awhiiiiillleeee, around 3-4+ months
Did you tune it after the exhaust and intake
No tune!! I'm looking at a couple but still haven't made a decision yet
Did the midpipe throw a cel when u installed it?
It never did with the defouler!!

It’s more noticeable (just a bit tho, not that drastic) on the higher end, I def lost low end torque tho
Any check engine light when you put the mid pipe
I didn't get a check engine light with the midpipe, however I did get one with the intake but went away as soon as I started using premium gas

Significantly louder yes 😎 but thankfully not “my neighbors hate me” louder
