I'm really enjoying your content with the Corolla mods. I planned on trading my 21 SE sedan, 6-speed OF COURSE, in for a GR at the end of the lease but that's probably not going to happen. So, I've been looking for more ways to mod my 21 and this channel has helped a lot!

I have a question for you, how is the drone & rasp inside the cabin after installing the 2J pipe? Sometimes I have people in the back seat, and they asked me if my engine was in the rear 🤣 Just curious if the drone is reduced in any way. Thanks!!

Did you have any exhaust leaks after installing the 2j mid pipe? Also what torque specs did you torqued the 4 bolts to? Thanks man! Your videos are super helpful.
I haven’t had any exaust leaks yet! I am a bit curious about the cheap gaskets supplied but we are good so far and i just tighted the bolts up with a ratchet until i cant go anymore so its all the way tighted without any issues
Since the bolts are designed to bottom out

Still don't understand. Does it just sound better. Do they have tunes for it, and I don't get why anyone would do that to a corolla that's not a GR or Turbo'ed.. Are you going to turbo that too just curious. Not knocking you at all just curious? didn't know they made power without the 3 cylinder turbo model?
I just help to increase the aeroflow for the exaust as well as getting a little bit more torque and power but other than that not a ton of gains and no, I do not plan on turbo in this car due to its high compression ratio. It really can’t be turbo.

i have a bolt on borla cat back exhaust anything you suggest i could do to make it a little louder
the mid pipe is the most restrictive portion of the exhaust, its like only and inch and a quarter. next do the headers along with a tuning chip to get the most out of it.

E210 Borla Resonated Midpipe (Hatch/Sedan) Ultra Quiet?
It’s just the regular catted mid pipe it’s not the race spec or anything like that
Do catless/high flow car pop CEL on these cars? I have a 2020 i want to go catless but i cant have it tuned yet and i dont want the check engine light

I have pretty much the same set up as you with the 2j midpipe with the remark exhaust. I used a 90 degree 02 sensor extender to prevent the check engine light but yet i still got one. Do you think if I drive on it for a bit longer it'll go away?

@@spencerdelessio6615 a month you have 500 just save that a little bit more and you should be able to get yourself a good tune for around 700

Did it make ir sound really loud or is it comfortable to drive how it is? I got a sedan with the apexi catback exhaust and its really not that loud was looking for mid pipe to see if it would gave it a little more sound
It seems a bit louder yes but tbh header makes it louder the midpipe was mostly more raspy

With the o2 sensor, if the check engine light comes up do I just need to clear the code or does it actually need a tune tune?

I paid extra for it when I ordered the 2j racing mid pipe. So basically it was a additional option

Technically yes because it still has all its catalytic converters every car is supposed to have a certain amount of catalytic converter some have 2 and some have 4
