Thank you! Playlists help narrow the videos down a bit and make it easier for people to find a specific video as not everyone wants he hear me ramble a lot of shite when riding the bike. Thanks for watching!
The reason I fitted one was it will last a lifetime and it can be washed so it's better for the environment as your not filling up landfill sites with old filters. Hope your well Michelo
@michelod.i.y.5202 Nice one Michelo. The weather up here has been OK but the roads are damp and riddled with salt so my bike is still tucked up in the garage 😒
Hi Derek, yes they are good filters and if you keep the vehicle for a few years then fitting a KN filter is a wise decision. Good for the environment and also saves you buying new filters! Hope your well buddy 👍
Hi there, really nice and detailed video. I need to remove my fuel tank to replace it and your video is really helpful! The only thing that troubles me is the fuel pressure. In the manual it says that I should disconnect the fuel pump wire and turn on the engine until it stalls. Can you tell me did you do any of that and after you installed everything how did you start the engine? Thanks!
Hi, I didn't disconnect the fuel pump or run the engine until it stalled. Instead, I just disconnected the pipes and wiring and lifted the tank off with only a tiny bit of fuel escaping. I've done this procedure on my Suzuki GSX1250 and also on an Africa Twin and never had an issue. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching
@antoniomajstor9388 reinstalling the fuel pump should be simple enough and basically the reverse of renoval however, I'd probably renew the seals on it if your reinstalling the same one you've taken out. I haven't covered this on any of my bikes yet as I've had no need to but if you search on TH-cam for motorcycle fuel pump removal then that should throw up some results as fuel pumps are practically the same for all bikes albeit some may look different depending on manufacturer. Hope this helps
Thanks for the content mate! Very useful. Just one question, how do you put key hole cover back in? Those screws/button can't pop up when I install the cover. Thanks.
Hi and thanks for watching. In all honesty I didn’t notice any difference in induction sound. I have a K&N on my car too and again I haven’t noticed any difference in sound
You absolutely can hold the tank up buddy. Re air getting into the system, that would be pretty hard due to the one way valves plus the system would self bleed
Brother at 11:58 a piece from the k&n paper box, fell into the third air intake! All your videos are great and very helpful btw ;)
Thanks buddy and well spotted! The tank is still off so I'll check it out
Good choice Sean. Have used these for years on my cars and cleaning them is easy. Every vehicle should have a reusable filter as standard
Cheers buddy, I've used these on some of my previous cars too and they have always been great.
Yes lovely!! Thank you and great job on making a playlist

Something I've never considered, perhaps I should give it some thought 👍

Had my first ride of the year today, lots out here in Wales as it was sunny after weeks of rain
@michelod.i.y.5202 Nice one Michelo. The weather up here has been OK but the roads are damp and riddled with salt so my bike is still tucked up in the garage 😒
@@BMCMOTOUK was frosty here this morning, but strangely enough very salting had happened, still gave the bike a wash when I got back 😁
That's the key, giving it a hose down when the roads are salty. The roads were iced up here at 4am when I was heading in to work
Morning Sean job well done good filters K&N are. 👍🏍️

@@BMCMOTOUK yes Sean all I fitted one on my first Kawasaki Z1000 SX the black and blue one gave a good induction sound 👍🏍️
I'll find out how this sounds when the weather is better 🤣
Another very informative video bro good job
Thanks Imran, hope your well buddy 👍

@@BMCMOTOUK Thank you a lot for a quick answer! Do you maybe have or know about a tutorial on how to remove and reinstall the fuel pump?

@@BMCMOTOUK Perfect then I will try to find it on youtube. Thanks again!
Your welcome mate!

Hi.buddy. pop the pins up before you reinsert them
Did you notice any improvement in sound? In the past, when fitting these to cars, I noticed more induction sound.
Hi and thanks for watching. In all honesty I didn’t notice any difference in induction sound. I have a K&N on my car too and again I haven’t noticed any difference in sound
still thinking if I will buy a K&N or BMC washable filter which is which
@@maximusthemartian8897 k&n is washable, never heard of BMCC
@BMCMOTOUK BMC is a brand with washable air filter too or may e it's not available on your location
you can hold the tank up.. less space but less issues if air gets in the lines later.
You absolutely can hold the tank up buddy. Re air getting into the system, that would be pretty hard due to the one way valves plus the system would self bleed
Is he speaking English? Sounds weird
No, the language is "Jock," which is an ancient language used by jocks.
Rule number one that everyone should know is to never ever use K&N air filters
Back this statement up with evidence. Otherwise, you're just talking shite...
@@BMCMOTOUK every single mechanic knows not to use those. Like there's not one single professional mechanic that would recommend those air filters
Your still not backing this up with facts. Hearsay isn't a valid reason to your point
@BMCMOTOUK There's hundreds of videos on TH-cam testing the filters so no Need to stay ignorant
@hvivar3351 but you've just told me every mechanic doesn't use these, I take it you've spoken to every mechanic in the world?
