What you fail to realize is that aircraft in the 30's and 40's were built primarily of aluminum. How much of the actual original shape do you honestly think would remain at a 250-300 mph impact? Also, what angle/altitude did the plane fall at; that'll have a huge effect. And yes, there is an engine in this sequence! It's at 2:41. It's seems to be a 90 degree v12 liquid cooled engine. You can see cylinder sleeves, pistons, intake/exhaust ports, and what looks to be left of the valvetrain!
I'm planning on going to Norway and Sweden this summer to check out some crash sites with my motorcycle and a camera. Could you send me the coordinates of this site to me on email or private message, please, so I could visit it?
It would be foolish to make determiation on whether something was fake or not with such a short video. HOWEVER... I knew that aluminum didn't rust before I got out of the 5th grade.
Fake crash site?Would be quite an effort to make one :) People visit these sites and lift and turn the individual pieces...just like we did when visited this site.Hence no depris on top of most of the pieces.I also have a video from this site...only if I had time to edit and post it here...maybe some day.Check out my other videos I have posted.

With a little duct tape and some crazy glue it would be as good as new.
The Norwegian Aviation Museum has visited the site and has recovered some parts.
