What do you think of keep inventory being ON for peaceful/easy? Right now theres no way to turn it off, and it still disables achievements on normal/hard! Thanks for watching, subscribe:)
You should always have the option to turn on/off keep inventory, but if you turn it on for peaceful, you can still earn achievements. I believe this is how it should be implemented.
Tying the keep inventory rule to difficulty is an interesting change, wondering if they're considering making each difficulty more different in the future rather than mostly being "enemies deal more damage on harder difficulties" also this finally means that keep inventory is no longer considered cheating if you're on lower difficulties, a welcome change for the version of the game notorious for having players die for no reason
It would be kind of cool if it was just a game rule, or more specifically you could choose if what you want the keep inventory to effect. Loosing items and/or exp for example.
Bedrock edition needs java parity about banner patterns. There are some banner patterns that are available in the Java edition but not in the Bedrock edition.
@@farlapjonesthat's the hill you want to die on? The main point of this comment was about how the guy I replied to was rude and dismissive in there comment and pure down both the original commenters and Minecraft bedrock as a whole, I fully agree that a pause screen would be nice but it's not a "good start" like farlap said, good start implies nothing else has been done and that it's in a bad spot currently, which is why I started going off on them
@@GoteryupWhile saving and quitting is a solution to "pause" the game, it would be better if the game could be paused while playing. Imagine needing to always pause the game because of some reasons, but you can't repeatedly pause bedrock because it doesn't have that feature. Every "pause" would take 5 seconds or maybe if it's laggy, 10 seconds, while actually pausing the game takes less than a second. Digging straight down and hiding in a pocket to afk is also another solution to "pause" the game, but the disadvantage is that the game keeps running. An actual pause feature would pause the entire game. Lastly, yes there are things tha bedrock does better, but it doesn't mean that bedrock is better at all things. In fact, I've been playing bedrock for 10 to 11 years and java for just 2 to 3 years. I have experienced both versions, especially bedrock, and if 2 years of java experience is already enough to see the difference on what is better, it is very safe to say that bedrock is not the superior version. @@MrBrineplays_ while it would be technically better, the same could be said for many other things to be added, and workarounds are good enough for 90% of players, because most of the time you either pause for long enough that you can save and quit and have it make sense, or it's so short that the time you missed is going to be negligible. Also as someone who has extensively played both versions for over 10 years on both versions bedrock is better in most ways, I could spend hours bringing up reasons but I don't want to get into a comment war, but you as a single person saying that a couple years of java being better for you is far from enough to make a definitive answer that java is better. I would like to eventually have per player difficulty as well. If there was an Easy and a Hard difficulty player in the same location, hostile mobs would focus on the player with Hard difficulty and largely ignore the easy mode player. This would allow more experienced players to help teach or play along with much younger inexperienced players. If a Peaceful player was near a Normal difficulty player, hostile mobs would spawn but completely ignore the Peaceful player even if attacked, and again the mobs would target the more difficult players nearby. This would make the game have much more flexibility rather than having a one difficulty setting fits all approach.
You can still type /gamerule PlayersSleepingPercentage 1 and it works even though it doesn’t show up in the chat and it doesn’t turn cheats off, but I’ve found you have to input it every day as it keeps turning off
I think it makes sense for keep inventory to be on in peaceful mode, but I dislike the idea of it being on in easy. Keep inventory definitely feels like a "cheat" setting, and allowing it on easy allows all achievements to be obtained with no risk of losing anything. Not losing xp means there's almost no death penalty in easy whatsoever. And I think the problem with having it turned on by default in easy but then not being able to turn it off without activating cheats speaks for itself. Additionally, how will this interact with swapping difficulties after world creation? If you swap to easy from a harder difficulty, do you jut get keep inventory activated, or does it stay as what it was before the swap? What about the other way around? Bedrock already suffers from a lack of people playing though the full progression, and while I see how this keep inventory change could be beneficial for people getting into the game, I'm worried that it might contribute to the "dumbing down" of the bedrock playerbase. A simple question silentwishper, does it work in Pre-Existing Worlds with Keep Inventory? Given how soon hardcore is getting released, I'm a bit disappointed that there hasn't been a bugrock focused squarely on bugs that lead to players' untimely, soul-crushing deaths. We need this, silent. 😅
I play hard mode for the better mob drops and spawning mechanics, and I play with Keep Inventory turned on because life is too short to re-gear up when dying in the void. I'd be pissed if they made these mutually exclusive. Edit: I honestly think players should be able to decide what's cheating and what's not- for any setting. Just add that to the permissions of the world owner. We shouldn't have to rely on 3rd party software to allow achievements in a server that also has some custom settings (and even command blocks).
It might be nice if Keep Inventory was toggleable per player. I play with my kids and they die CONSTANTLY so it would be nice to set it up just for them.

I really, really hope they don't tie KeepInventory to game difficulties. I also want to be able to prove I don't use KeepInventory, because it will always feel like a cheat to me. I want enabling KeepInventory to be a toggle in the same way the cheats toggle works: once you enable it, your world is permanently marked for having done it. People can do whatever they want in Minecraft, but I don't want to play with KeepInventory, and I don't want anyone thinking there's a chance I use it.
I got a complete legit survival world but I have command blocks with gamemode c and s just incase i want to do something impossible in survival. It’s quite easy with pc to get command blocks and still have achievements
Yeah they're gonna remove hardcore from Bedrock within the first three days after it was added because Microsoft's shitty CEO realized that if they kept it in they'd spend the rest of Minecraft's life and beyond in prison, preferably Alcatraz.

It might be nice if Keep Inventory was toggleable per player. I play with my kids and they die CONSTANTLY so it would be nice to set it up just for them.
Is bedrock getting that enderpearl change Java had in a snapshot? Are we getting a chunk loader finally?
not that we knowof:/
@@silentwisperer fingers crossed then for some happiness
For some reason, in minecraft bedrock for android, there was no change to keepinventory
its only in beta right now:)

Would Forest, Plains, and Desert be bad biomes and Jungle, Ice Spikes, and Mushroom Island be good biomes?
no idea. i imagine they want you to spawn near trees though
Keep inventory being affected with difficulty is totally fone
Whisper can you make a short video on how to get out of beta even though we're not request to join the beta and yes we did reinstall and clear data but it seems to be the same which get in the game and in beta mode
its bugged right now, a bunch of people just got put into beta when they shouldnt have
@@silentwisperer thanks for the info, love your vids man
I am playing on pocket edition beta a hardcore mode does it's make any problem and I open my world it's make any problem on beta please help me ❤😅 I know my English is bed😂
Ok im good at surviving in normal worlds and we can no longer make raid farms in survival world?
If the wither no longer moves when being spawned in, does that mean wither killers will no longer work?
it means he wont move around the area while doing the spawning animation
I really, really hope they don't tie KeepInventory to game difficulties. I also want to be able to prove I don't use KeepInventory, because it will always feel like a cheat to me. I want enabling KeepInventory to be a toggle in the same way the cheats toggle works: once you enable it, your world is permanently marked for having done it. People can do whatever they want in Minecraft, but I don't want to play with KeepInventory, and I don't want anyone thinking there's a chance I use it.
Yeah, that would suck big time
I got a complete legit survival world but I have command blocks with gamemode c and s just incase i want to do something impossible in survival. It’s quite easy with pc to get command blocks and still have achievements
@@meatball7497 yeah not sure I'd call that legit
I just want them to fix the minecart stopping bug on bedrock, made my farms useless
its fixed in the next update:)
hello
Yeah they're gonna remove hardcore from Bedrock within the first three days after it was added because Microsoft's shitty CEO realized that if they kept it in they'd spend the rest of Minecraft's life and beyond in prison, preferably Alcatraz.
What about chunk loaders? 😭
java only rn
We have needed ender pearl parity for a long time.
Will I be able to change an existing world to hardcore?
dont think so. maybe with world edit
theres just no way to know if youve already died in the world etc yknow
@@silentwisperer ok thanks
Wait keep inventory is not on bedrock ? I have it on me
1:49 After a Long Time, Peaceful and Easy Now Activated "Keep Inventory" Thanks SilentWisper
After a Many Years for Deaths, Deaths, And STUPID DEATHS!!!!!!! On Peaceful Survival i'm so Tired
Normal and Hard, are Disabled Keep Inventory
How do you manage to die in peaceful?
@@sfdfegsgshajrveaahhwqgshdj1174 there are a few ways, Void, Lava, fall damage and some more
Finally I can die and not lose everything in survival. I don’t have to put Cheats on anymore
Don't forget to like him
Hard and hardcore should turn off coordinates
Petition for chunk loader bedrock
The tick area command in bedrock is better than java chunk loader.
i like you
What happened to the vex?
just a broken texture
why mojang not reduce wither attack or heart wither, wither in bedrock is so hard to kill😢
How can i get your skin in mcpe???
Coloca áudio em português 😢, gosto do seu canal ❤
Hey silent
What about Faster regen parity before hardcore 🤯🤯🤯..
yessss we need it
While I agree that faster regen would be nice, java's regen was integrated into its new combat system. So... how about faster regen parity AND offhand parity before hardcore?
@@CowtheCow-ym4hq yep many more parity we needed.
