@@sunnydeng9263 I personally EDC the way smaller old Gen 2 CATS which were all black, no red tip, black "time" band. If you vet properly they can be found on ebay from old military surplus sellers. I've gotten two that I have verified using pretty much all the NAR methods that it is indeed an old school CAT and not a fake. They go for $20 usually still in the packaging from ~2005 and that era.

When I was searching around to purchase a SOF-T, I didn’t find any listings with “wide” in the name. However, the one I have looks just like the one you are calling wide. Is there a difference, or just a variance in the name?
Is there anyway you can give the estimated dimensions for after they are folded? I have a limited spot for tourniquet I'm trying to find the smallest one available.
Can you do a video on the basic old style TK. I just did a class for several officers that asked what if I need 2? Ended up showing them a bandanna or the clip on tie they were wearing and ASP for a windlass. They had been through the basic 1st aid class at the ARC but direct pressure and the TK on their belt were all they taught. The instructor taught them wrong on the SOF on staging to go along with the class. The IFAK is even in the car instead of on person. It’s EMS’s job to help fix stupid instruction. FYI they also bought the Chinese knock-offs. 4 officer department gave them all my NAR tourniquets and kept 1 knock-off. Right to the label, usually say it’s better than nothing these aren’t. Please let everyone know what garbage some agencies are getting thinking it’s the real deal
Hey Sam I am interested in becoming a Swat Medic or Medic for my local police department. What would be the best route for education and training? I am currently planning on 1 year of Criminal Justice and 1 year of EMT classes at my skill center.
I think not using rubber bands and just holding the fold while pocketing it sis better since you have to waste time removing them if you need it quick and one handed

I wish NAR would make a lower profile/compact version of the CAT, but keep the simple to use system. Great video as always!

I like tucking the triangle in, it's like a clockwise motion to tuck it in. I also carry it on the flatpack carrier. 👍

I’d suggest a light pound fishing line instead of rubber bands. Easy to break and won’t degrade like rubber. Great vid sir.
