That filter thing reminds me so much of the original Hoover bagless machines with the crank on the dust bin that didn’t do anything. Would like to see how this does with regular usage
Nice review. I'm excited for Miele to release the new variant of the C3. I've seen a couple of brief things online about it. Can't wait for your video on it when the vacuum becomes available.
i'm glad that i've found your channel before purchasing cx1. i went with c3 total care with parquet twister. and it was much cheaper than cx1, bagged is so much better and simple. no need to maintain your machine every time u vacuum.
This is one hopelessly over engineered (not in a good way) and over priced vacuum. A single cyclone, a filter that clogs up with fine dust and can't stand being washed, an exhaust filter that's not user replaceable, all this in a big and bulky body, that can't even store a dusting brush on board, what the hell were Miele thinking, What a POS
100% agree. Bought one thinking given it was Miele it would be a polished product - it feels more like a poorly thought through, over-engineered prototype. It really tarnished my view of Miele. It's probably the worst vacuum cleaner I've owned.
I heard Miele was coming out with a new vac . I couldn’t tell if it was the end of 25 or 26 ? A replacement for the C3 was what I was understanding if correct .
Definitely one of the best designed bagless machines on the market. The bagged machines are gonna be better but you want a bagless machine this is probably one for you.
I was very surprised by the overall conclusion and a lot of the comments. I have the blizzard cx1 and I've had it for over a year. I got the pet Edition because I have a husky anyone that has owned a husky before is aware that that means twice a year your entire living space is to drown in fur. I have been downright abusive to this vacuum cleaner not just with the fur but cleaning in general. Also using it for cleaning out the car occasionally. It has been nothing but good to me. Very powerful surprisingly quiet for the amount of suction it gives you and I guess I just got lucky I haven't had an issue with the hepa filter yet.
I don't know if you've seen but Sebo are releasing a cordless machine made by a Chinese company next year Feb. All of these German companies seem to be realising that bagged corded machines aren't cutting it, panicking and then just completely selling out. Miele isn't what it used to be either. Their newer machines have been critiqued for bad motors and plastics straight out of the box. The worst part about the Blizzard is that even though cyclones are depressingly inefficient it doesn't even attempt to spin anything away from the pre motor filter which means it has to get clogged every 5 minutes.
The paper filter clogs all the time. The "Clean" button just flicks the filter ribs and SOME of the dust falls out and still has to be emptied manually (most owners forget). This machine is marketed to people wanting "Miele" and "bagless" BUT it's performance is not very good at all......
Y would they put their name on a bagless vacuum . I hate bagless . I think it cheapens their name . They should just focus on their bagged vacs especially their hand tools ❤🎉
This machine only exists to make the bagged machines in the lineup look superior. Hell it even has the stupid filter setup from a 2006 TTi W2. What an awful machine. Just get a damn dyson at that point, theyre always on sale for $200 for the canister.

Wow, I almost bought this. Thank you, I went with C3 Excellence from Canada

Looked up the sticker price. Insane! Bagged, NOS is the way to go, or lightly enjoyed.
0:47 Great! Now I’m hungry for popcorn 🍿!😝
Crazy maintenance and cost makes this a hard no for me. I own a bagged Miele canister….S series. Ten years old; very reliable!👍
Same here. The bag being the filter helps a lot with maintenance. I wish they made lighter stick vacuums though.
@ Not a fan of the stick myself. I think it’s better to own only one vac….well 2, including a shop vac.
Helpful review summing up this disappointing Miele entry. It'll be nice in future to learn how the C3 has been upgraded.
The C3 hasn't been upgraded but in 2025 we can expect a replacement
Excellent review, thank you!
This makes the early bagless machines from the early 00s look fine in comparison.

It's end of 25. It's really just a Miele C3 with a face lift
@ ok just as good as the tried and true true but just looks different

Has the Miele Boost CX1 been released yet to the US market? It's been on the market in EU for few years now.
Yes it's here but doesn't have an electrical power nozzle so there's really nobody buying it
The bagless one is much more complicated to maintain , it’s definitely easier to just change a bag every couple of months
4:17 Maybe use another vacuum or compressed air to sort of clean the filter.
Could you do a riccar r25 review

0:18 A really small rolling coffee ☕️ table.😝
Is $1499 a good price for a c3 brilliance ?

Are you not in our discord server?
@@PerformanceReviews Nope, don't use it
2:33 Coffee, popcorn, cotton candy. Are you sure that the CX1 was meant to be a vacuum cleaner Miele? 🤔
Bagged vacuums for the win.
perfect

Hateful things lol. I will stick with my ancient Miele S5211 thank you.
I’ve had no interest in any bagless machine since they hit the market. They’re so messy.

Another great brand losing focus.
