im having the same problem my 2004 toyota camry le is leaking from the left side of manifold.. i changed the gasket on it but when i got under the car to look for myself i found the bolt missing.. do you think that will fix the issue
What direction to I turn the under bolts? I am well aware of the "Leftie loosie" XYZ, but I do know that some are reverse threads and I don't want to stripe my bolts.
To the left. Most bolts are standard thread, left loose and right tight. Usually the places you see left hand threads are rotating parts or something prone to loosening from harmonics. An example I know of for lefty bolts is inside some rear differentials: the ring gear bolts, due to the rotational direction of the gear they would loosen with right handed threads, so lefty threads it is.
I never tore the engine down enough to figure out if the block was cracked or it was a blow head gasket. The rest of the car was in such bad shape I ended up getting rid of it.
Been awhile since I did this but I think I remember giving it a few sold hits with a rubber mallet to break it loose. I went back through the video and I don’t think that made it in the video.
Most of the time this cars they will have stripped screw that old down the engine, big job 2500$ repair or get a new engine from junkyard if is worth it
Why am I having trouble finding the bolt in the far left passenger side by the engine harness ??? Help

Why pcv valve hose is not connected to pcv valve and going to other direction and pcv is not connected to any thing
I've seen others disconnect the fuel injectors as well, is that not necessary?
No, not necessary to get the manifold off. Plenty of room.

Will a check engine light come on if you have a bad intake manifold or not always
Not always, same thing for me. Im leaking coolant from my manifold and the light isn’t on, but its a serious issue
Came upon your video, was it a blown head gasket

Why won’t this shit come off I did everything u showed me and it won’t come off it’s like it’s still tightened down

@@the88kid32 I figured it out the videos actually doesn’t show u 2 other bolts
@@christophersmith930 the 2 on the bottom or somewhere else?
@@the88kid32 I got the top an bottom one there were some on the side and another question is there a way to remove the flywheel without a impact gun
@@christophersmith930 interesting. I don’t. I did find this video

Did you have to replace that due to a code p0171 "too lean" vacuum leak?
No this was part of the process to replace the head gasket.
