I had this issue too. I actually contacted Astro as I was extremely disappointed that the $550 headset died so quickly but thankfully it was within warranty and they sent me a new one. Which had just died (granted been a year or so) and that’s why I’m at this video. Won’t be buying Astro again that’s for sure.

Bro, you are a lifesaver. These are the youtubers we need. Mine just stopped working out of nowhere. I own 2 of them one for my xbox and one for my pc. Yes I know I could just use one and switch it around but I got them at like $75 a piece new so I brought two at different times. My pc one stopped working out of nowhere this solution worked thanks a million

It worked! Amazing... my dock kept spinning refusing to charge the headphones. I restarted it like this, it turned the headphones on in a few seconds.

Wow my A50x just did the no power issue also. I think it was because it went into sleep mode when powerd on still. I left mine idle only to come back and they were locked off. Held down Game volume and the cycle button and they came right back on. No issues so far. First video I watched also, thanks for the information!

I instantly subbed after watching this my headset was not working at all i tried countless videos and went to coutless websites but this was the best solution to the problem and now it works properly and it took like 1 min thats all thank you so much man!
Nothing works. I just got mine and the charging dock works, the software says it's charged, the blue light is on the headset, but when I remove it from the dock. The light goes out and my pc detects them and I can change the volume but there's no sound. I never had them working. Spent hours looking for a fix

Try this and if doesn't work then try just pressing the voice one a lot and the game one (just randomly spam, I just pressed the voice one after a lot and it started working)

Yo I have a Astro A50 for the PS4. But I’m using it now on the PS5. The thing is: it works well and I have sound and everything. But when I look at the base station. All lights are out. Like the headset icon. The 4 bars indicate how much Battery you have. Do I need to update it? Because it didn’t do it in a while lol. I just turn off/on the headset and the base station lights get back up.

Bro thank you I tried this on my Astro A50 and they work now , they were fully charged but just didn’t want to turn on
Everyone make sure your using the original Astro power cable that turns on the charging dock I was using a original android charger and I could not connect to it even after following steps on resetting the headset uninstalling an reinstalling acc or connecting a usb to the headset from the computer. Once I found my original Astro power cable that goes into the back of the charging station/Dock it instantly recognized in my Bluetooth settings. This problem was on going for me for a week I tried everything an it happened to be me just using the wrong charging cable. Hope my information helped

Idk if anyone still checks this vid but ive been having a issue where my mic would cut out randomly and never knew why, my fix was in my recording settings i set the line as my default communications and kept the headset microphone as default device and it seemed to work for me. I hope someone can benefit from this
not working, when i reconnect them to the base station the headset just stop working again… they have like 2 months
