In an interview, Billy Gibbons said, ""Yes, it's based on a rap song from the 1990's entitled '25 Lighters' by Lil' Keke and Fat Pat. Blasphemous for the band; but it really wasn’t the same thing without Dusty Hill there. 😢 RIP Dusty- wherever you are ( Duegello @ 1979 favourite album by ZZ Top Greetings from Boston, Massachusetts Amerikkka quite obvious by this point in time..
It’s Dusty, but ya’ll were close enough- and I understood what you meant. Yes, the first and last time I saw them was with Elmo which prevented them from playing any songs that had Dusty hitting those high notes in them including the very first time they did not play “Tush” for their encore!

WOW! This is a great song. I love the sound. Real rock n roll.
inspired by dj dmd and the screwed up click from h-town TEX classic 25 lighters back in 96. The funny thing is that the original talks about selling the "snow" in those lighters lol!

I was telling my wife and kids about this as I went to work this morning.
Like many, I am here because of Dusty hill's death. How perfect that this latest tune sounds like an old field recording of Delta Blues.
RIP Dusty Bro. You, your talent and contribution to music will always
live on. Dusty and the rest of the crew gave us great music, and they
were the soundtrack of my life and millions of others around the
world-Thank you. Dusty and ZZ Top define great music.
