I don't think the guy on the video was playing lyrilusc tri-brigade, seems like pure tri brigade. However, maybe pure tri brigade isn't that good or the player misplayed (turn 1 he link summons Ferrijit and special summons Fraktall for no apparent reason, Fraktall's eff can be used in hand so he wasted Ferrijit's eff, it doesn't seem like he could do much and he was clicking buttons). The usual full combo board for lyri tri brigade is UDF, Simorgh, Robin and either Apex or Statue. It's a really versatile deck, it can go through handtraps and has good comeback. Can also get Tri brigade Oath to GY with Kitt to negate a Spell/Trap.

The one time I was Nibiru'd in MD so far the guy gave me the token in attack. It was bigger then Nib itself, so I swing over it. He wasn't able to get rid of it by the next turn and I had leathal so he surrendered when I went to battle phase
I was playing Raidraptors and got a board and got nebiured. 2nd turn comes he gets rid of everything except the token I combo again he uses a 2nd nebiru and gives me a 112k beat stick. He used all of his out on my raptors. I hit face for game laughing my ass off.
Advice from another virtual player, count the invocations and when you see the rival's timing, simply pass the turn, so you force it and the game lets you continue with the combos, apart from that you have a free token xd I also recommend putting the button off to look at the rival's timing, if you see something jump, activate it to deny it if you can
yeah I always try not to summon my lao lao until I make sure the opponent doesn't have nibiru, and if the opponent has nibiru I just summon sigma and pass because she cannot be tributed by nibiru's effect

My God. This game was so different when I played as 9 and 10 years old. (I quit just when Gx started) People actually want to form decks to personalize it, not for sake of meta. The rules should now include no duplicates except for fusion materials as listed, 2 sets of draw cards, 1 type of monster field destruction spell, and even perhaps a set amount of summons per turn. (No more than 5) Hell, during those days people wouldn't use both Raigeki and Black Hole. It just wasn't fun to be jamming players all the time either.
I'm not sure whether you played competitively or not back then (like, actually going to major tournaments), but people for sure played Raigeki and Dark Hole, which led to Raigeki being banned for years.

We had a consensus of not playing dirty. (We didn't even know what Meta decks were at the time so it was frowned upon.) Tournament rules.

I wish some way Nibiru could be banned for players who actually want to play and go back and forth but unlimited for people who take 20 minutes to set and restrict you from playing a turn it’s boring and no point of playing.
I wish side decking exists at least for rank. Like best of 3 then each win still adds to the streak so you don't get cheated out for your time. Nibiru, dark ruler no more, lightning storm and the usual sides is what stops these ftk/otk decks. That or just update the banlist for single game formats, study all the cheap play builds and ban or limit accordingly.

I wish some way Nibiru could be banned for players who actually want to play and go back and forth but unlimited for people who take 20 minutes to set and restrict you from playing a turn it’s boring and no point of playing.
I wish side decking exists at least for rank. Like best of 3 then each win still adds to the streak so you don't get cheated out for your time. Nibiru, dark ruler no more, lightning storm and the usual sides is what stops these ftk/otk decks. That or just update the banlist for single game formats, study all the cheap play builds and ban or limit accordingly.
