It's funny that I had 1 game that the opponent activated nibiru, I chained Psy frame Lord Omega, it sniped the nibiru from their hand but nibiru still tributed everything and didn't spawn a token lol
Hello just verifying since someone in a tournament told me I need to activate Nibiru when Summon 5 or more happens. I can't do it as they're ending the Main Phase @ 6:35 if I can do that then they didn't know what they were talking about. I kept reading the card and nothing of the sort that he said made it seem like the card needed to be activated as he said.
Your opponent cannot leave main phase without confirming with you that it's ok, so when they say battle phase or end phase they're asking you if you approve of them leaving the current main phase, at which time you can say no, i would like to activate Nibiru.
If you activate a card you must resolve it as much as possible, its first part is to tribute all face-up monsters possible, then it has an and if you do conjunction meaning if it successfully tributes any face-up monster it will special summon itself, both the tributes and the summon will be considered to happen simultaneously, if you tribute no monsters you don't get to special it as thats how the and if you do conjunction works. If you do tribute something but cannot special summon it, the token will not be summoned, this can happen by either being unable to control summon nibiru by being locked or it not being in the hand to summon, the token is summoned by the then conjunction and cannot occur unless nib is summoned, its considered to happen sequentially as the then conjunction is sequential but the and if you do conjunction is simultaneous, so off maxx c you give two draws when nib resolves properly. But both conjuntions say if you dont do A you wont do B, in this case A is tribute something, B is summon nib, C is summon token, so if nib leaves hand, A happens B cannot happen, and because B is needed for C it too cannot happen. This was not meant to be this wordy. Hopefully it was helpful
So you mean to tell me if I have twin twisters in my hand and the nib I can activate nib tribute my opponents board of monsters and still be able to pitch it for cost to nuke my opponents back row That sounds like a lot more gain than loss to me. They won't have a token to switch battle positions of and then crash into my nib or blow it up and smack me directly with. If D shifter is also in effect any of their effects that would activate upon hitting the grave would not resolve either. You can just go from there with a 2 card combo and your opponent not be able to negate your stuff on your turn ( ideal situation ) and be able to win.
@jasonstricklin2602 priority passes back and forth between quick effects, so when you use nib your opponent can respond next, so it's not likely to chain block a quick effect. Some cards can be chain blocked that are quick effects, the purrley attach effects and the lady labrynth can be chain blocked by you have prio after they use the spell or trap. But that's chain blocking them from responding to themselves.
@JessePeckham-r7h ? As long a monster is on the field and face up it will be legal to activate, assuming you're opponent summoned 5 times. It only resolves if a monster gets tributed and nib can be summoned from hand as in doesn't get discarded and no floodgate is flipped to prevent it from summoning.
I occasionally use an ai generated voice, usually for shorts but it is still my voice. I can also generate corrections for when i miss speak with that voice.
These are some awesome helpful tips for my dinosaur deck! Thank you so much for the help!

Tip #2 Could work vs Floowandereeze
Just so I'm clear, if you don't negate Niberu's tribute effect, it'll still activate even if Nib is banished or you cannot produce a token?

@@LegacyCrusaders it is helpful. Appreciate it and thank you!
@@LowellLucasJr. Any time, always happy to help, I was concern I made this video a bit rambly.
@@LegacyCrusaders it's fine. The examples helped as my.friends and I have either been puzzled or unsure of the card in certain situations.
@@LowellLucasJr. Could you share some examples, sometime hearing about them gives me more video ideas, and I need some lately.

Yup, i mean to tell you that.
@@LegacyCrusaders is there some kind of chain block there in that situation that would prevent the nib from getting negated? Just curious
You cannot chain block quick effects. Nib is a quick effect.
@@LegacyCrusaders ok so nib can still be negated and because it's quick effect it can never be chain blocked ( protected to resolve)

Wait i activated mine today on duel masters and had no creatures

I can’t quite explain it, but your voice sounds AI generated. Still a great video but… I’m confused by this realization
