I love Nibiru, just waiting for my opponent to spend thirty minutes to an hour summoning all their boss monsters and just activating the rock that killed the dinosaurs
Just gotta make sure u have something for the beefy token you'll give ur opponent Had someone in master duel nibiru my ass but somehow had no way to remove the 5000 atk token they given me and so they scooped 🤣
My favorite part of Niberu is imagining showing the card to someone who only played early playgrounf Yu-Gi-Oh! and see them go "FIVE SUMMONS IN ONE TURN?! That sounds impossible"
I heard you say "summoned" when describing Nibiru's effect and thought "No, isn't it just special summoned?" then checked the card to see it included normal summons and went *"Damn even the birds ain't safe!"*
It’s really cool how Konami made a Primal Being based off the monster in Nibiru’s token artwork. I love references like these in Yugioh because they’re amazing and interesting
One of the very few staple cards I actually used. Ran it in my Fossil Fusion deck, in part for its utility, but also for the thematic match, being an extiction event.
@@oxandrolone3190 Mostly pure, I suppose. Any monsters and support spells and traps for the archetype, with a few other thematic or reliable cards sprinkled in, like Zero Gravity to both stop attacks and allow my piercing monsters to shine. Oh, and I also added one Grand Mole, both to mess with others, and because my head canon for the deck was that he was the one digging up all the fossils. UwU
@@NitroNEXT As do I. I've been wanting to build two opposing DnD based decks, one representing the classical monsters with Five Headed Dragon as the main boss, representing Tiamat, and once representing the adventurers, mostly humanoids like warriors and spellcasters with equip spells as their magic items.
Kinda yeah, but they're ve done even worse before. Crush Card Virus was first released as a tournament prize, which created a "rich get richer" situation given how overpowered that card was especially back then.
And then one could mix it with Jurracs to have a full dinosaur extinction theme deck. Btw, those archetypes are not related, it just happens that Jurrac got a recent new spell that allows them counter Special summons like Nibiru by special summoning Jurrac Meteor as a board wipe, not related in lore but have similar effects.
Hey Sam! Here's a video idea! It would be a quick one, but I have always been curious about this. During Battle City, what cards would the winners have gotten from their opponents had they opted to actually take their rarest card or a rare card that works with them. For example, what would Yugi take from Bakura, Arkana, Lumis & Umbra, etc? What would mai take from the actor? What would Kaiba take from Joey had the rule applied? What would Kaiba take from Ishizu? What would Joey take from Odion? What would Marik take from Mai? What would Bakura take from Bonz? Can you please do this??? Also, I'm sorry I'll probably leave this comment in later videos hoping you will see this. Love your videos man
They should make the Giant Soldier of Stone part of this archetype and make it a counter to Theia. Theia created the moon while the Giant Soldier destroyed the moon 😂
Honestly cool to know they expanded on Nibiru. A quick effect to summon them during the opponents turn and limit summons has pretty general utility as a whole
The story of these archtypes kinda reminds me of Phazon from the Metroid Prime series. You can look at Nibiru having blue like minerals in the meteor that looks like an Phazon and there's the parasite monster that came out from the meteor looks almost identical to Metroid Prime itself.
Since I love to play the HERO archetype, I always have to be careful in every duel for the possibility of my opponent having Nibiru or any other hand traps.
Can you do Sanctuary in the Sky archetype? It’s got a metric ton of material to cover between the Archlord cards, Zera cards, Agents of cards, Hyperion cards, and Parshath cards.
by chance was there a "Summoned Skull" archetype somewhere in Yu-Gi-Oh now? If so, perhaps another suggestion there. Or, for possible future Duel Analysis, Yugi & Kaiba vs Lumis & Umbra?
Throwing out a video/video series idea, List of staple cards through the years, why they were staples, and in some cases, why they aren't now. If going with just a single video, probably just gonna hit the highlights, of what is still a staple, and maybe an honorable mention to like Pot of Greed. if going w/ the series idea, could maybe split it up by year the card was introduced in, I remember "H - Heated Heart" being run in non HERO decks just for the trample potential.
May we possibly see a video about the Red Dragon Archfiend archetype? It's one of my favorite monsters and with Jack as one of my yugioh characters. But I can't seem to find a video talking about it and I am curious how best to use them since I have the jack atlas structure deck
Nothing like a Kashtira Arise Heart vanishing a field wiper (not negating, like MST) to confront a Trickstar combo, MAXX C'd may I add, and a Nibiru ruining the day... 😔
I neeeed a blackwing video. Idk why, but they are my favorite and i recently learned they got more cards, within the last year or so... It would be greatly appreciated for you to cover them
nibiru is a made up name for a made up planet that conspiracy theorists claim will destroy earth one day. theia is the name of the planetoid that according to a well supported scientific theory crashed into proto earth with the resulting debris forming the moon.
Hey TGS I'd love to see a video on you doing the Archfiend Archetype aka Summon Skull Archetype. There has been new Archfiend cards that supports the original Summon Skull, and there's a monster for every Summon method
I just noticed something. Nibiru came out 2019. Now, 5 years (or summons) later the Theia rises from the impact it's egg created. That is so sick.

It's almost satisfying as throwing an actual rock at them
Love it until you accidentally wait too long for the summon and the opponent gets a monster negate on the field.
Just gotta make sure u have something for the beefy token you'll give ur opponent
Had someone in master duel nibiru my ass but somehow had no way to remove the 5000 atk token they given me and so they scooped 🤣
Nibiru happened before the dinosaurs came into existence.
Nibiru won't ever happen. Thea is closer, but still came down long before the dinosaurs.

Honestly my first thought of nibru was scooby doo mystery incorporated
This is such a modern yugioh card. Breaks the game if your opponent is doing modern duel things, absolutely useless if they're not.
I'm surprised sam didn't mention the theia is a real theory the opposite and counter to nibru
Otk opponent with niburu token is the most satisfying thing in yugioh.
Nibiru is such a powerful board breaker. Its release really changed on how the game needed to go through and through.
