After the secret boss erlang fight then i realised the intro fight was actually staged by wukong and erlang but erlang improvise after the headband was suddenly activated
Great video, I’ll definitely sub. Are you going to do an analysis of the Destined One vs Heavenly Kings/Erlang Shen fight in Erlang’s secret boss fight?
2:33 I think that should have counted wukong pressed his chest against Erlang spear regardless of if it did damage or not that a clean hit for Erlang because his opponent decided to show off
Hey man, been loving the videos, could you please do one for Vi vs Sevika from episode 5 of Arcane, I know it's a TV show and you do video game fights but I think it'd be cool
@CrueltyFreeD To be fair , this is not where he got defeat In chapter five , they show that he actually survived that little clash and kept on fighting
Pulling out a bit of Journey To The West knowledge, this fight is probably how the fight between Erlang and Wukong went at the beginning of the book. In fact, the only reason why Wukong lost that fight too is because of plot; Lao Tzu had a diamond snare that he used to capture Wukong while Erlang kept the monkey distracted. Otherwise, I believe they were evenly matched then as well, since Wukong already had his transformations and staff at the time. So the two being evenly matched here makes sense.
@@CrueltyFreeD great videos man, i came through thor vs kratos video, our voice, delivery back ground music choice and pacing of the video, superb work.
If you played the game and understand the plot, you know that Wukong could have easily defeated everyone here. He was doing this with ulterior motives.
@@CrueltyFreeD his spear doesn't erase transferred kinetic energy, this would be the equivalent of blocking someone smacking you with a aircraft carrier repeatedly. that staff weighs over 17 thousand pounds. thats in a state of rest not including the momentum of being swung by a monkey for whom 17 thousand pounds is just heavy enough to be considered a decent weapon.
@@CrueltyFreeD 17 thousand pound staff, when at rest being swung by a monkey for whom the weight just barley qualifies as a proper weapon, according to the original story several times in the story they note a single strike from wukong could kill a god outright.
This is literally how i imagined every anime fight scene before i started watching anime.
Facccts!

Thanks for the insight! Idk the first fight was staged 😮
It’s like 2 chess bots of the highest level playing each other, most of the time it ends in a draw because they play so perfectly
...this...is the perfect analogy 🫡

Thanks for the sub! And yes I'll definitely be breaking that one down too

they where but this was before wukong was put in the furnace which gave him another massive power boost.

How does the D-S scale work?
Still working on it. But I'll try to explain the criteria better on the next one.
Please do kratos vs zeus in God of war 3😂
I haven't forgotten about the goat 😏 that fight will get it's shine too
I mean canonically even for a god blocking wukongs staff strikes without damage is impossible so arl lang was taking damage through the entire fight.
If you played the game and understand the plot, you know that Wukong could have easily defeated everyone here. He was doing this with ulterior motives.
Hmmm but if he's striking Erlang's staff rather than his body...wouldn't that still be a block??
You have me pondering now 🤔
