1. Buy 10,000 VRP from the store (not through Steam) 2. Wait until there isn't a bunch of new content coming out next week 3. Buy the Premium Pack Done.

The community needed a video like this! I'm new to R3E from iracing and couldn't find a recent one! OBS: on the intro the sound of the logo is way higher than the video itself
Ah thanks man - hope it's helpful! And great you're getting in to RaceRoom! And thanks re. sound levels - still struggling with the right mix in some elements on the vid!
You pretty much nailed it with some good advise there. I started in RR in mid January this year and found the free content allowed me to race online and try enough of the simulation to understand if i wanted to keep at it anymore...you know the sim racers folly.... wheel, pedals..then the rig and seat.....then the upgrades.....and so the slippery slope goes on.... from there you cannot go far wrong with just the starter pack.... however it did not take me long to just be done with it and get the Premium pack sure i have a load of cars and tracks i have not even driven and may never drive but i got the impression it was not worth the time to pick and choose what i wanted or thought i'd need given the over all saving from just buying Premium.
When u said u are used to buy Fifa, F1 and Football Manager every year i felt relatable and i subscribed ahaha I´m getting started with R3E, coming from iracing but the content there is waaaaaay expensive so i may spend more time in raceroom. And this past news about ranked servers sounds great! Anyways great guide videos, keep the good content man!
Ah thanks Ricardo - appreciate the feedback and the sub! I’m really hoping the competition system gets somewhere close to iracing in RaceRoom. Will take some time, and honestly the ranked servers right now are still great fun. And haha re fifa and footy manager etc! 😂
Also worth mentioning that pack prices are reduced if you own elements of the pack already. I went for the starter pack, the European track pack and a couple of gt3 cars for around 3000 vrp and have had at least 3 or 4 ranked servers to choose from each week without buying more... Although I did buy imola this week... And a Ford gt gt1, the engine just sounds incredible! Haha still over 1000 vrp left from my 5000 though
Yeah great point! There's a few things like that I should have included! That's great re. how you've gone about buying the content you need to get online. I raced Imola last night in the GTR2 class - video should be going up later!
Steam DLCs often get overlooked or even actively discouraged to buy they often get 50% discount, which already makes them a good offer. if there's regional pricing, the deal might be even better. of course these DLCs are old, but for tracks or classic cars they worth considering
If you can wait you can buy everything for 50€ on blackfriday, the 7500 vrp pack recive like a 50% sale and it is how i bought all the content last year
Yeah a solid choice to start with - usually at least one GT4 race per week, either in rookies or sometimes the longer races too. Hope to see you on track sometime fella!
@@philippemoinet1407 no no not at all!! I was able to translate it just fine, only my ability to write French back is rubbish! Also, I’m sure your English is a lot better than my french! 😂 Hopefully see you on track sometime!
I'm confused: the premium pack costs 9999 VRP or roughly 99€ - a bulk discount, which is 18% so it ends up on around 81€ for 10k VRP but if i buy 10k vrp, i pay 65€. so not knowing that, makes you waste like 20€ right? or am i missing something?
I just installed race room last night definitely going to use this guide to help me get what I need and how I want to play tonight !
1. Buy 10,000 VRP from the store (not through Steam)
2. Wait until there isn't a bunch of new content coming out next week
3. Buy the Premium Pack
Done.
😂 Yep that’s what I did, plus timed with a sale. Not everyone fancies that though!
Is there a schedule for when new content comes out?

I enjoy buy new single pack, it is my joy. As I respect dev team.
i just started, buyed only the AMG GT4 because all ranked races where GT4 so, no free ranked i guess

you are correct
You are correct. I think they are doing it to bypass Steams 30% cut, which is about what would be the difference in prices
I am already signed in through steam in race room and I have bought things so it doesn’t work for me sadly :(
Thank you so much. This was very helpful.
Is that a BMW M8? Also, where do you get that livery?
it's a GT4 class, so it's an M4 GT4
the premium pack is the way to go
Nice video just subbed 👍
Thank you buddy - appreciate that. Play much RaceRoom?

Great video
