Collegiate record holder in the 60m Julien Alfred held her own against Cherokee Splitting a 51.10 for Texas. I think we might see that collegiate record go down. Then Adeleke a hybrid sprinter who qualified for every sprint (60-400)at indoor nationals ran a 50.5 on that second leg for Texas. Definitely capable of 3:21
Shakeen Sands not with the big usa Delilah Mohammed, Athing Mu, Sydney Mclaughlin,Shameir Little or Anna Cockrell. No way,and none of the starters can't come close to Mclaughlin,and Texas didn't went to jamaican to shop for no goods the came to the usa to college and your anchor leg can't with that close win and will not be close to Athing Mu she is a monster on that track at the 800.400 and 4x4 so there is no competition there 😉 😜

Cherokee Young and Stacy-Ann Williams will be good for Jamaica's 4x400m team this year. These camera angles are kinda crappy for real - takes away from the race.
@@noelbartley1084 seeing that she is a tigress with that baton, the coaches shouldve programmed her for the relay only, instead they chose the athletes who made the top 6 for the final and Shericka had no.business in that final, her mind was on the short sprints plus she failed miserably in 2019, on her leg in that 4×4 final jacko was smoked by a college (USC) athlete who runs for Canada and she can't test Char Char.
Texas replaced one of there original runners with Alfred on the 3rd leg and still ran this ridiculous time 🤯 imagine this relay team with the four original runners🤘🏽
Alfred might take that spot permanently.’the runner she replaced is in deed a quarter miler but not very strong a 53 second leg has been the fastest she produced but Alfred blew a 51.1 with more fitness thats a 50 sec leg. And Adeleke can definitely go sub 50 she is the smoothest of them all.
In her defense she was up against the indoor ncaa 400m bronze medalist stacey ann of texas. Who has a outdoor pb of 50.15 she was gonna get caught regardless of the lead.
I hope Stacy and Charokee saved some those fantastic relays times for the Ja; teams when it matters most.
