At 15yo she ran that last 400m at 1m 11sec. That is super fast considering she just done 1100m. And 2nd place was 100m away when Mu finished. That was a fast 1500m.
If Athing shows up, just go home. She’s gonna take it from you…and it doesn’t even look like she’s trying!

You can't deny, the gift of long legs is nice to have..
I think it’s talent not really long legs. Long legs doesn’t automatically make you fast. Look at salwa eid Naser who is 5’5 and bean Miller uibo for the women’s 400m title in 2019. Long legs doesn’t=fast. Talent and hard work is what makes you fast.
I don't think it's an advantage because Shalane Flanagan, Molly Seidel, Allie Ostrander, and Des Linden are all relatively short. (I'm sure there are some short runners who specialize in shorter distances too, but I mostly pay attention to distance runners as a short female distance runner myself.)

The announcing is kind of weird. It's like the announcer is doing television commentary into a live stadium sound system. You just don't do that. You don't announce to the entire stadium that the winner is now obvious and it's now just the leader running against the clock (even if this seems to be true). You can do that when your comments are isolated to television, but you should never speak like that to the people who are still running the race.
