Light Deluge

Light Deluge is a jazz/soul song that I have been working on for a while. This is another one of my songs that relate to rain. "Deluge" means "severe flood", but it's a bit of an oxymoron if it's a "light heavy fun", which is why I thought it was interesting to title it the way I did! This song started off as an idea that I was humming after work while waiting for the bus. I felt like this was so large of an idea that I had to create this one into an entire song, so that's what I did. This took a lot of time to get everything to sound better than it did before each time I worked on it, especially the percussion parts, which there are a lot of different bits of percussion sounds, but all of it is worth it because it sounds complete to me. I put a lot of work into this, and I plan on arranging this song for a jazz band!
