I make a lot of music! I mainly compose Jazz and Ambient music, but I'm trying to experiment with different genres so I can reach interest from more people. I have perfect pitch and I use that to create cool songs! I love Music Theory and I could teach you a thing or two. I also longboard, create art, do some photography, game, and try to stay active in general! I really hope you all enjoy my channel! 😊😊
Lightwave - Jerome Porter
"Lightwave" is a song I came up with after finding an organ synth sound on Soundtrap called "Continental Fire". This song started with me wanting to remember the instrument, so I recorded me pressing one note five times.
At first, whenever I listened to it, I thought it was a mistake, and I didn't pay any mind to it. However, after listening to it more often, I saw potential in this song. So, I started adding more notes, then harmonies, then percussion, and even more until I at least had a draft down.
I ended up leaving that song for a while because I was working on parts of my "Wavelength" series, but I came back to it a few weeks ago, adding more to it. I played around with more instruments, arpeggios, and melodies, sometimes doubting if it would work together. To my surprise, everything sounded great, or as some might describe it, electrifying! This will definitely be considered as one of my favorite songs!
I'll be posting more soon (hopefully) once I finish "Wavelength Kappa", the next song in the "Wavelength" series! But until then, stay tuned, and I hope you enjoy, "Lightwave"!
P.S.: There are some really fun parts in this song; tell me what you think!

Light Deluge
มุมมอง 732 หลายเดือนก่อน
Light Deluge is a jazz/soul song that I have been working on for a while. This is another one of my songs that relate to rain. "Deluge" means "severe flood", but it's a bit of an oxymoron if it's a "light heavy fun", which is why I thought it was interesting to title it the way I did! This song started off as an idea that I was humming after work while waiting for the bus. I felt like this was ...
Wavelength Iota - Jerome Porter

This song is part of the Wavelength Series, a series of songs that have the word "Wavelength" and a letter from the Greek Alphabet! Wavelength Iota is a slow-tempo ambient/new age electronic song I composed. I had this idea for a while, but I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, but when I started developing the "Wavelength" Series, I felt like I could use this idea, and I did! I really ...
Wavelength Theta - Jerome Porter

This song is part of the Wavelength Series, a series of songs that have the word "Wavelength" and a letter from the Greek Alphabet! Wavelength Theta is a slow or medium-tempo jazz song I wrote. This may be the song that I've struggled with the most, but I had to push through and finish it! I finally got around to putting live instruments in my songs; that is me playing the trumpet! I'm cheerful...

This song is part of the Wavelength Series, a series of songs that have the word "Wavelength" and a letter from the Greek Alphabet! Wavelength Eta is a rock/metal song formed from the idea of the B-Section of Wavelength Alpha. I stumbled upon this miscellaneous instrument in Soundtrap called "Check the Fax, which has been used in Wavelength Beta Actually, while creating Wavelength Beta, this id...
Vibes - Jerome Porter

"Vibes" is an idea I had started a while ago on Soundtrap. It is a chill, laid-back song that I came up with thinking about what 'vibes' mean to me. This one took a lot of fixing, but even though it still could use work, it turned out great! There were so many cool instruments and drum patterns I added to the song that I think are really cool! I always like playing this song and just relaxing, ...

This song is part of the Wavelength Series, a series of songs that have the word "Wavelength" and a letter from the Greek Alphabet! Wavelength Zeta is the sixth song of the Wavelength Series, coming after Wavelength Epsilon. This song is in the Electronic genre, specifically, closer to the subgenre of Cinesynthic/Synthwave! This song is similar to Wavelength Delta, which is the other Cinesynthi...
Warp Speed - Jerome Porter
มุมมอง 899 หลายเดือนก่อน
Warp Speed is a song I thought of using the instrument "Halycon 5th" on BandLab! I ended up creating a fast-paced song that may be Electronic music! I chose the title 'Warp Speed' because the melody made me think of traveling at Warp Speed! This song was very fun to make and sounds really cool! I feel I've become somewhat of an Electronic music writer recently, unless this isn't Electronic musi...

This song is part of the Wavelength Series, a series of songs that have the word "Wavelength" and a letter from the Greek Alphabet! Wavelength Epsilon is the fifth song of the Wavelength Series, technically coming after Wavelength Delta. This song is a mix between New Age, Electronic, and a bit of R&B! I enjoyed making and figuring out new things like panning sounds to the left and right side. ...

This song is part of the Wavelength Series, a series of songs that have the word "Wavelength" and a letter from the Greek Alphabet! Thank you man!!
this goes fuckin crazy dude, such a good melody
Thank you so much! The melody was the thing that drove me to write the rest of the song!!
YESSSSS 👏🏻
THANK YOUUU 😊😊
Braaaaaaur! But in all seriousness, this is one of the best peaceful sounding songs I've listened to. Your work is absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to hear the rest of the future songs in the Wavelength series. Keep it up man, you're awesome!
Thank you so much, man! You're like my guinea pig when it comes to making music because you always listen, even if I go into hyperfocus and work on the songs for hours. It's an honor to always have someone be there through the process of my music making! Thank you 🔥🔥🔥
just don't stop man
Thank you so much! I won't!
Absolutely amazing! That trumpet part hit the spot! ❤ Everything was connected, and that drum part was on point! Not too much... but just enough to not only support the rhythm, but actually weave itself into the rest of the composition. Bravo sir! 👏🏻
Thank you! It was my first time recording any instrument for one of my songs. I was very picky about it all, but I finally found the vibe I wanted and went with it. I actually used a MIDI keyboard for the drum parts, so they sounded a bit less processed. It's touch-sensitive and really helps convey dynamics. I look forward to record more live instruments! Thank you! 🔥🔥🔥
Pretty chill, would listen to it during studying. This that type of jazz I be talkin bout -Niomi
Yes ma'am! I love jazz music, but I enjoy this style of jazz the most! I agree with you entirely!
Omg Jerome it’s Abe I can’t believe you made this it sounds so nice and peaceful hope you continue on your journey keep going
@@epicnerd7913 Thank you so much! I love making peaceful music because it's one of the only things that can actually tame my anger issues every time. I appreciate your support!
This reminds me of the instrumental version of one night only by dream girls. But your version reminds me of someone who wants more than that one night stand but can’t achieve it because the other person just wants a one night stand. The feeling of expecting unconditional love out of someone who can’t give it to you is exactly how your song makes me feel and the trumpet amplifies that feeling in an instrumental way. I like this you did your big one.
@@kimorawilson3121 I'm at a loss for words. The way I felt and understand what you were talking about was real. Now every once in a while, I'll be thinking about your take on this song. I always knew I had a way with conveying feelings with my songs, but never feelings so strong. Thank you 🖤
Love the combination of that noir style music with the synths 🔥
@@ajammyn Thank you! I was going for an ambient electronic and jazz fusion! I do like the idea of Noir Style music; I'll have to listen to that more!
This gives me Metalocalypse vibes
Ah, I see! I love when my music gives people certain vibes 🔥

Absolutely fantastic man. The flow of the melody mixed with the harmonics is perfect. Well done. 👏🏻
Thank you so much! There is a story behind Wavelength Alpha and Wavelength Beta. I believe the next video is going to be those two songs in one video with the storytelling going on while the song is playing.
🔥
Thank you bro🔥🔥🔥
Sounds like a theme song to a movie or something 🤔
Really? I was told it would be cool if I made music like that. But thank you!
