Really the limit of the hyper furnace is how many items are in it when it triggers. I just wait until it is full and then add single wooden plank, repeat. I spend 10 minutes filling the fuel chests about a year ago, and it is still going strong, converting 1 plank into about 1.5 stacks of cacti green (meaing 1 double chest of fuel produces over 30 stack of enchanted green). You would get about the same even converitng the plants into sticks, but it is not worth the effort as wood is so quick to get and converts into 4 times as many itmes in plank form. But I dont afk much. Back before the hyperF I had lava bucket based furnace array. I want to say that that was like 15m per day of filling buckets.

@@Posher25 Yes, but the hyper furnace smelts instantly, so the limiting factor will always be the hopper speed, which I overcome (to a degree, an instant hopper system would probably alow a plank to smelt like 30 stacks) by waiting until the furnace is full. So if I replaced my planks with coal blocks, they would be used up at approximately the same speed, as the coal blocks would just spending even more time burning with any items in them smelting nothing. So I just use the cheapest burnable item. which happens to be planks as far as I can tell. The trick is only loading fuel into the furnace one at a time and only when full, so you dont waste fuel. This method is less important since they apparenatlly fixed hoppers a little bit and also less important with really big farms with loads of incommign items, but can still be used even then.

i think the high tickrate is the same reason the hoppers worked faster and the items flowed in water a few more blocks instead of fixing lag itself, the admins sped everything up to 'simulate' a normal 20 tick enviroment.

For me they kinda ruined the game to limit lag. It always feels so scuffed when I play nowadays. I also built a cactus farm and now i am like super salty. I started playing vanilla again because there I can build as many farms as I want.
yep knew it, it's the fact that it requires processing that ramps up the price so much the raw cactus is just a dead end but when you turn it into enchanted cactus green that changes , the price disparity is massive. Mine is smaller though so I just use a bunch of hyper furnaces connected to the system that I activate when the cactus starts to pile up.
BTW I remember reading this in a patch note way back when they added infinite lava bucket, u can use it and infinite furnace fuel. Idk if it still works but its a chot

something to note about this too, in the recent patch removing the ability to black cat farming cap glitch, cactus will climb again to these levels because it's now impossible (as far as we know) to farm cactus at 20 bps.
