We Built Probably The Biggest Cactus Farm Ever In Survival Minecraft and it produces over 54,000 Cactus Per Hour! This took over 42 hours to build in Survival Minecraft, but is the end result worth it? You can be the judge.

This will be useful for when you need 50,000 cactus in the future for a build

here's an idea what to use the cactus farm for.
just turn the collection area into a bonemeal area.
and all the collected cactus will be turned into bonemeal. much more useful and your long hours are feeling less wasted.
Can be used for xp like sb737 did
that's about 3500 bonemeal per hour which is pretty good
@@allen_mc8449 true, but to be honest the piglin farm seems better seeing you can let your character just afk, while with that one you have to do things manually.

Shulkercraft, some TH-cam dude built a 1800x1800 cactus farm that produces about 31 million cacti per hour His channel name is Kuusj But I know that in survival it is impossible to build this, so your farm is in 2nd place among all existing cactus farms

Why not to just replace fences with open fence gates? Easy and cheap solution which increases efficiency of the farm

@@Shulkercraft but are you replacing just those specific post with gates or all of them? The gates may not harvest the cactus, u could just use a sign if your just replacing those specific ones.

I remember a guy who dedicated his skyblock island to cactus farming, he had 30k plants BUT about 20% of the cactus fell on other cactus so it didn’t produce more.
They tested it after it was done another time and itcwas more
SB737 has a cactus XP farm that he has been building and he is trying to go from ground level (i think around Y60-Y70) to the build limit (Now y319). He has many levels to it already
It could actually be useful as an xp farm
Just lead the cactus into a bunch of furnaces (with fuel of course), wait for a bunch to smelt, and you get xp even if you only take one from each furnace and just dump the rest
Or you could save the dye lol
Edit: I know cactus xp farms have already existed shut up I didn't want to sound like a nerd
Or you can just make a bamboo farm without wasting any time to get fuel.
Cactus + bamboo xp farm has existed since forever
sci craft blitz has such thing with a huge cactus farm from bed rock to top of the build limit and it produces XP 2

I made a 16 chunk by 16 chunk version of this farm that was from bedrock all the way to the build limit in a server I was in with some friends over quarantine. It took so long to build, lol.

It's a cool build, and it has potential to be used for practical purposes. Cactus isn't super useful in bulk by itself, but you can use it with a furnace array to make a really strong passive XP farm, and you can also use composters with this to make a good bonemeal farm. The flex is probably worth it alone, but now that it's built it might as well be put to good use.

Okay, I've got to ask, even if I sound absolutely, utterly and incredibly stupid: This "lava method" you describe at around 3:50 - that was a joke, right? Either that or I just can't get it to work in my surivval world, meaning I have already wasted several stacks of perfectly good sand... :(

I once helped build a cactus farm on a skyblock server who produced 500k per hour, it was so huge that we had to have multiple accounts to render the chunks. It also lagged the server quite a bit so the admins gave us a free rank in trade of us scaling it down. In the end we had one that mde arround 10-15k per hour
still we were about 20 ppl working on it and took us like a month to build
If you build a huge automatic furnace room below this, you will get one of the fastest xp farms in Minecraft. You could see an example in the SB737 hardcore series.
Legend has it, the turtle is still trapped within the inner workings of the giant cactus to this day

One thing I really like about your videos is that you show when you make mistakes/miscalculations and how you fixed it. Rarely do other TH-camrs shows this, but in reality it happens quite often where problems arise.

The Timelapse of the building was sooooo satisfysing.
Switch the fences to fence gates and open them and you have zero loss after that so no cactus will stay on top of it

You couldve done this without the water layers and slabs, the cacti would just fall down if there werent, meaning you would only need one water layer leading into hoppers on the lowest layer, making the farm way more compact.
I have an idea for an upcoming farm. It could be the largest sugarcane farm without flying machines. I have done one that gets 30,000 items per hour on bedrock, with a ton of lag
Just place another fence on top of the others, it won’t interfere with anything, and since it’s 1.5 blocks tall, they can’t get stuck on top

These guys inspire me to build something , like I tried to build the Eiffel tower in creative and got bored when I saw the tutorial. The only thing I have build in survival is the enderman farm and spider spawner farm . I have no clue where they get the patience to do this
f you hook this up to a massive furnace smelter it will make infinite xp inside the furnace that collects when a person takes anything out, just have the cacti dye get trashed
Glass panes tend to work better with this farm. Some people even use string. I remember starting to build. A 7 x 7 chunk cactus farm and never again got through one layer in the end.
These guys are torturing themselves for our enjoyment. I think that is worth subscribing!
there is a sever called melon SMP and the best way to make money on that server is cactus farms and there is one so huge that your frame rates die when you get near it
The farm works without all the water on top of the slabs. It would probably take a little longer, but i just wanted to mention it. Love u guys!

good farm for economy server, only prob is im only on 11th row and hoppers cant keep up since paper stacks them at 64, hoping the owner will change the hopper transfer rate, cant use shulkers due to have to sell the cactus straight from chests. on mine i readjusted it so it can keep caught up. b4 re-release.

You guys should mainline some of the cactus into a large smeltery since cactus can be used as fuel, if it produces 54K cactus an hour it should be more than enough to continuously refill and smelt anything
look up the biggest cactus farm hypixel skyblock its like 160x160x250, i started one that big but it would take an estimated 500 hours so i gave up
