where are you getting the 1.2m per hour from?? When I tested this with lvl 100 monkey & lvl 100 ocelot at basically max efficiency it got roughly 500k per hour...

As usual a very simple method of getting something that is supposed to be difficult and annoying from the one and only Something like that...
I kinda feel bad that this stuff is being posted by you when if people think about it from Vanilla perspective they can think of the same thing, but people that play Vanilla don't play Hypixel Skyblock.

oh yeah btw if redstone contraptions work just fine wouldn't vanilla auto sugarcane farms with redstone work as well you use pistons to push the top block of sugar cane and destroy it to automatically get sugar cane I mean its not super fast and you only get one sugarcane per sugarcane destroyed however its automatic so you don't need to do any work. I haven't seen anyone actually try it though and I am confused as to why.
Probably it being not worth it and being difficult to collect due to those farms usually using, one a minecart with hoppers or to, just having a large water stream or pool in the middle. But even with pool of water being available, I am pretty sure pistons apply to the redstone limit, so it wouldn't work due to that alone if you want large profits.

I tried this before with regular bone meal disregarded it instantly because it was so slow, completely forgot enchanted bone meal was a thing, at least it finally has a use

well the only issues that I'm aware of are that it's competetive, boring and don't give much exp

competitiveness completely,
it gives basically the maximum amount of exp possible atm so you can't fix that more either,
and about it being boring, the reason people complain about it more than let's say about farming, because just like farming it's a repetetive basically pointless task, but you have to also constantly pay attenion to it
well, that doeasn't solve it completely, but also let you pay a lot less attention to it so you can watch a movie or sth, also beacuse the pattern of moves is so simple and the same each time after a while of practice it should become basically automatic

In a week hypixel fixes placing sapplings
U can use dispenser to use the bonemeal and saplings if u do it right
I tested this method against the regular foraging method in the dark oak forest, using a god pot, full young, treecap, and legendary monkey pet (level 77).
To get 50k foraging exp using this method it took 8 minutes and 39 seconds, which is 375,568 foraging exp per hour.
To get 50k foraging exp using the normal method it took 6 minutes and 54 seconds, which is 458,715 foraging exp per hour.
This means that this method is only ~82% as efficient as the regular run around and forage in the public lobby method.
By the way, yes, I did have competition in the public lobby.
Using a level 100 monkey would likely narrow this gap, but only by a little bit, as it would only further reduce the cooldown by around 10%, and it usually takes a little over a second to place the saplings and ench bone meal anyway.
Also, this method is really, REALLY annoying and takes a lot of focus. You have to keep cycling the items in your inventory/chest to your hotbar, you have to get the timing right, you may misclick etc, not to mention the fact that you have to spend a lot of coin getting enough enchanted bone meal. If you're co-opped with 2, 3, or 4 people, this process can basically be entirely automated (each person only having to hold down one button), but otherwise, I would recommend the normal method.

@@TheDiamondBro I tested this with a level 77 legendary monkey. It reduces treecap cooldown by 39.5%, while level 100 would reduce it by 50%. As I said, it would only further reduce the cooldown by around 10%, and it usually takes a little over a second to place the saplings and ench bone meal anyway. Even assuming that you are taking exactly 1 second between chopping each log which is not realistic, it would only increase the exp per hour to 415,002, which is still much less than the conventional method's 458,715.
