Really great vlog. Really helpful in planning trip to Switzerland. Thank you for making this beautiful vlog. I'm going in end May for 10days. Could you advise if I should buy the 8 days Swiss Travel or the 15 days Swiss Travel. Only staying one day in Zermatt. The rest of the 10 days are exact same place and days as your vlog. We are in our fifties so don't want to buy the half fare pass. Might have difficulty buying the right tickets. Thank you.

Hi, Thank you for a comprehensive video. One question regarding how you got from Zermatt to Zurich. Seems like you kind of did full circle. We are coming from Milan and heading towards Zurich, with stops in Zermatt, and Interlaken.
If we are ultimately leaving out of Zurich, how many nights would you recommend for Lucerne and for Zurich? Or would your recommendation be to setup the last leg with a base in Zurich and just make a day trip to Lucerne?
    Thanks!

May sound a bit kiasu but with 2 kids and many luggage (we are coming over from Italy), i wanted to plan early. Interlaken will be great too if you can squeeze it into the itinerary! We enjoyed our day trip up Schilthorn from Interlaken ☺
We went during end Nov - early Dec! I remembered the beginner slopes were stated to be opened on the website but were closed in the end as the snow wasn't thick enough. I guess it really depends on the snow condition 🥲I think Mid Dec would have a better chance!

Hi, I came across your video and loved it! Its been really helpful in planning my itinerary as I plan to go to Swiss with my friends in may! I was wondering if you would be able to help me out with some questions:)
    1. Where would you recommend staying to explore Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Wengen area?
    2. Would you recommend exploring Murren Village?
    3. Does the Swiss Travel Pass cover all the transport costs? (eg. Taking the train from Interlaken to Grindelwald/Wengen/Lauterbrunnen?) I saw that some train rides are only discounted with the Swiss Travel Pass, do you know roughly how much it would cost then? Would you be able to direct us to a website?
Thank you and really appreciate it!

    • @tangshuimoi686
      @tangshuimoi686  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Hi! Glad that you enjoyed the video ☺
      1) We would recommend staying in Interlaken! It will be a good base to explore the areas.
      2) Yes, we visited Murren for our Paragliding experience and we loved the town! We did our Paragliding with Airtime (airtime-paragliding.com/)
      3) Swiss Travel Pass covers most of our trips from town to town and within each area - including those train rides you mentioned. It doesn't cover attraction travels, for example going up a mountain peak. But you can enjoy a discount! We bought the 15-day passes on the official Schweizerische Bundesbahnen website (www.sbb.ch/en/leisure-holidays/inspiration/international-guests/swiss-travel-pass.html)

Hello! Sorry for the delayed response! You can check out our planned itinerary here: docs.google.com/document/d/1SDo2x5hICzK06Qch81mNmrBp5gROkmtGuu5qqunA6U8/edit?usp=sharing
We spent roughly about SGD8K (5.8K USD) for 2 pax. This excludes our return flights which we redeemed miles for ☺ Hope this helps!

However, we didn't follow all the plans in our initial itinerary!. Because some attractions were not open in Nov (eg Zermatt beginner Ski park, Lake Brienz tour). We felt that it was a pity that we didn't get to try skiing.
We didn't manage to visit some places (eg. Mount Pilatus and Jungfraujoch) as well because the weather wasn't ideal; the sky was foggy. We felt that it will be wasted to buy the peak tickets and not getting to see anything. P.S the tickets are not cheap!
So we spent these 'extra days' chilling around which was nice too! But in all, we had fun and it was a lovely trip 😍
