Marcelito is the treasure to the world his flexibility in singing any songs with different range of voices and distinct tunes with no vocal training self taught so proud of him try to react Unchained Melody Hallelujah Perfect Never enough thanks for your nice reaction
So much to unpack. He’s singing while sitting, in two ranges and two languages, neither of which is his native language. I find his Italian quite good. And I love his “male” voice.
Keep in mind that Marcelito was homeless for years and on the streets and SELF taught. All of the vocal techniques you so artistically notice came naturally to him.
The story is that he was joking with the bus folks about having a tiny soprano hidden in his throat. At the end of the song, her job is done, so he spits her out. 😁
There's definitely a lot going on here. Not only is he alternating between his head voice and chest voice but each of them are essentially in different styles and different languages neither of which are his native language. Plus from a performance perspective he's also sitting down. You can see at one point he grabs the desk to brace himself for a belt. Arguably not a flawless performance but still pretty darn amazing. Great reaction.
Thank you so much for having our very own marcelito pomoy please do react him singing never enough and she,s gone he is really great performing this thanks a lot god bless
You know what's impressive about this performance? 1. He's sitting down 2. On a bus 3. On a radio station 4. Not just switching from male to female parts also changing language's So impressive.
totally insane that hes doing accents of languages that are not his first language and even using the correct Italian to English accent for Andrea's voice.
I am not musically inclined one but the way you made your explanation through pointing out in which part of the video you are technically saying allows me to understand it. Thank you! More vids to come :)
Marcelito Pomoy is that he is not classically-trained nor has ever received any kind of voice lessons. this is just raw talent which he developed on his own, for the love of music.
This is just beyond mind-blowing. Marcelito is truly on a whole different level when it comes to his voice and talent. He's also self trained, so, that in itself speaks to his level of discipline, commitment, hard work and focus to achieve this level of excellence and brilliance.
This is the first time I see you react to a singer but I have to admit that I like your analysis of his voice. You are so detailed in your analysis and you know what you are talking about when you use the musical terms. Can’t wait to watch your next reaction
hello....i really love your reaction and analysis. very detailed and easy to understand. Thanks for this reaction, I really enjoyed it. waiting for the next reaction 😁
You can tell he has listened to Celine Dion’s diction of French/Canadian. He pronounces his words on the female part almost exactly like Celine. If he had proper vocal training I think he would find his own voice. He is an amazing singer and I feel his voice very underrated. People are amazed that he can do both voices, that they miss the pure quality of his own voice! My hope for him is that he gets to do what he wants to with his voice. His Opera voice is stunning and so amazing. I will listen to whatever he does because his voice is so unique and powerful ❤
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your channel. The beautiful songs and music has inspired us many times over and over. Please stay with us for always.
Great reaction. Marcelito is self-taught. He had a difficult childhood. Dad was incarcerated, & mom later abandoned him & his sibling. He was later adopted by a policeman. He worked odd jobs & worked in a chicken farm. While working in the farm, he would sing while working & discovered he could do dual voice. Btw, there are many Filipino male singers who can do this & there are even singing contests doing this called Doble Kara.
He is performing the song on a bus with traffic outside. He is sitting during his performance. He is not singing in his native tongue, but in English and Italian. He has no sheet music - it is all from memory. At 13:40, notice that he braces himself for his spectacular ending. Beyond awesome. Great reaction video.
You are a very good vocal analyst, thank you for taking time to check out marcelito's rendition of the prayer. I hope you'll see his rendition of Con Te Partiro at America's Got Talent. More power to you.
We have a Singing Contest here in the Philippines called DOBLE CARA ( TWO FACE ) where a man dress half a woman n the face painted half woman then sings in a dual voice and MARCELITO is the very very very best of the best..
he said that he just wants to let the "female" part out... thank you. Just love your reactions, a lot of beautiful insights. very informative. but most especially is how you love this job... and it shows.
You need to understand that there's no conscious "technique" here -- he's an incredibly talented mimic who has figured out what he needs to do to imitate both Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. That's what he's doing, and it's stunningly effective.
He can represent the Earth if there's a battle of the planet in the Universe. Great vocal analysis as always 💙 I suggest his "TIME TO SAY GOODBYE" performace in AGT. The transition is so ridiculous where he switches from female to male voice in between a word. SO INSANE!!!🔥🔥🔥
I think when you watch his guesting on gandang gabi vice, where the host make fun of him playing ak human remote control, its mind blowing how marcelito can shift his voice anytime in between words.
I actually started watching this, and when you paused I was like "nope, I am not ready yet." I had to go listen to the original a couple times, let it all sink in before I could go back and even beginning to listen to you meticulously brake this one down. :) I also agree I would like to see him just focus on that more chest voice sound, just to see how powerful he can go with it.
I do that so often. I will seek out the original(thanks for providing the link BTW) and listen to it 1st, open the reaction in another link, especially if I have never heard the artist or heard them sing that particular song, then I will listen to the reaction. I do this with other reactors, especially if they are reacting and just randomly guessing what "this phrase means" or even getting someone's name wrong. I research it myself. I know some reactors might want to be completely surprised, but guessing and posting incorrect info can be harmful to an artist, and people will believe what is 'guessed as fact' rather than find out the correct info. When your reputation is on the line, its important to be correct. While others just want more views.
I really enjoyed your very colorful analysis and reactions. I would like you to take a look and listen to Time to say goodbye on AGT. You may probably see this one that you are looking for in terms of his solo technique.
in my humble opinion "The power of love " is a symposium on the female head voice .. It is what I think people should start to listen to him on, then hear other covers he does ..... both songs are great but really melodic singing comes in when he sings this great cover, another Celine Dion classic ..can not wait for you to react
I was going to refrain from commenting in these TH-cam videos but I feel compelled to do otherwise as of the thousands of reactions I have heard of this particular video, you are the only one who is just as "obsessed" with that particular note/tone; that particular "choice" he made. Very smart indeed. He does this once more when he sang Beauty and the Beast at AGT, in the line "Both a little scared". I have seen him live a couple of times now in Toronto. The VIDEOS DO NOT DO HIS VOICE ANY JUSTICE. If you want to hear his natural singing voice check out Tagalog songs Pagbabalik and Aasa Sa Awa Mo Ama. I have seen some great singers live...Céline, Stevie, Tom and many others...Marcelito has had the most impact on me live. They had the volume at maximum level. I had the privilege of chatting with him the back stage after the show on July 30th; all I could say was: "What a voice"!!! He thanked me, then we talked.
I enjoyed your reaction and your delight, thank you. He is self-taught, so he could probably be even better with an insightful teacher. (I think he could show the teacher some new things too.) You might not know, but there is a Philippine tradition of men singing in two voices. Since his native language is Tagalog, he is singing not only in two voices but in two unfamiliar foreign languages, which must add another layer of difficulty. And he is sitting down. How he gets enough breath to do what he does is a mystery to me. His little gesture at the end isn’t a yawn, it’s a joke. He explained elsewhere that he is spitting out Celine Dion.
Yes, it's an "in-joke": someone once had asked him whether he had swallowed a woman to sing like that, and thus he sometimes visibly spits out that woman again after the end of a song.
Just flipped over from watching the Bass Singers reaction to this. Interesting to see you / both analysis side by side. I love how you assess / analyse the video. You don't just react but you give information or more of educate us about what the artist is doing. I hope you'd do a reaction video to KZ Tandingan singing Rolling in the Deep, Royals, and Say Something on The Singer (a singing competition in China) Also, do react on Darren Espanto's rendition of Chandelier & I Believe on the Wish Bus. And more importantly, to his rendition of The Phantom of the Opera. I'm a new subscriber by the way. I'm a fan of watching reaction videos to Filipino artists.
Finally, you have reacted to Marcelito!! Been waiting for this for months now. Kindly react to his rendition of Time to say goodbye on AGT: The Champions. I'm sure you will be more amazed on his vocal range and how fast he can switch from one octave to another. I believe it was his best live performance so far. Hope you notice this one! Btw, I always enjoy your reaction videos. Loved your genuine smile ❤
He was told by the people at the Wish Bus that he swallowed the 2 singers so you see him at the very end appear to yawn but he was letting the 2 singers out...was a joke to the people there.
Please listen to him on AGT singing the Beauty & the Beast & give us your reaction. At the end he had been teased by the engineers for his high voice & was spitting out his high voice. Great video. Enjoyed hearing you reactions. I’ve never heard another voice with the talents that he has. Never any professional voice training plus he singing in both Italian & English neither is his native language. Noticed in a couple of instances he held the end of the table for help plus he’s sitting down instead of standing up. Thanks for sharing with us. 😀👍
Try listening and reacting to Marcelito Pomoy 4 songs a America's Got Talent, his version of chinese song popularized by Teresa Teng, The Moon Represents My Heart, his songs at One Magical Night Concert such as Despacito, Never Enough, Perfect, his version of You Raise Me Up, Endless Love and all his Filipino songs.
Another Filipino pure talent without voice training. Thanks Marcelito Pomoy for putting our country on world map and kudos for supporting our talents.
MP is beyond human,he's second to none, thank u for sharing ur great too👏👏👏
Marcelito is the treasure to the world his flexibility in singing any songs with different range of voices and distinct tunes with no vocal training self taught so proud of him try to react Unchained Melody Hallelujah Perfect Never enough thanks for your nice reaction

I saw an interview with Marcelito and he said that final gesture was getting those voices out of his head!☮️❤️
The Power Of Love that he performed live on wish bus live. I'm pretty sure you'll gonna love it too. Thanks and God Bless 😊
Wow! First time I hear two voices coming out of one mouth, what an amazing skill, and agility! So well contained too!
The story is that he was joking with the bus folks about having a tiny soprano hidden in his throat. At the end of the song, her job is done, so he spits her out. 😁

Thank you so much for having our very own marcelito pomoy please do react him singing never enough and she,s gone he is really great performing this thanks a lot god bless
I'm not sure, what is here more amazing - His double voice or You and Your smile ☺
I am rooting for your reaction in his performance in AGT "Time to Say Goodbye".
Well, I would like to recommend two of his performance on America's Got Talent the Champions, either "Con Te Partirò" or "Beauty and the Beast" 😁
your cheerfulness is contagious! Go on!!!
Beautiful reaction loved it, please do more of Marcelito, power of love or time to say goodbye.
I love listening to your reactions because it is highly educational. Brava.
You know what's impressive about this performance? 1. He's sitting down 2. On a bus 3. On a radio station 4. Not just switching from male to female parts also changing language's So impressive.
Not to mention neither of the languages he's singing in are is native language.
You forgot 4. there's a microphone in front of him🤣🤣🤣 5. A blues bus passed by😂
totally insane that hes doing accents of languages that are not his first language and even using the correct Italian to English accent for Andrea's voice.
If you want to see him do something without multiple parts, his cover of Celine Dion's "The Power of Love" would be the one
I am not musically inclined one but the way you made your explanation through pointing out in which part of the video you are technically saying allows me to understand it. Thank you! More vids to come :)

The gesture that he did at the end of the song was he breathe out the other person inside him.
For me the best song that fits with his style is "time to say goodbye"
Thanks Maam . Proud to be a Filipino
This guys is blessed and great..u don't need pin point every angel. This is pure talent....what you trying to prove...this is talent.
This is the first time I see you react to a singer but I have to admit that I like your analysis of his voice. You are so detailed in your analysis and you know what you are talking about when you use the musical terms. Can’t wait to watch your next reaction
He’s self-taught which makes this even more incredible!
hello....i really love your reaction and analysis. very detailed and easy to understand. Thanks for this reaction, I really enjoyed it. waiting for the next reaction 😁
Your facial expression is adorable when watching him! Congrats also you picked up on so much more than other teachers.
He has an album in which he does both parts completely then mixes them for the true duet sound, The album is called "Duet Yourself"
You can tell he has listened to Celine Dion’s diction of French/Canadian. He pronounces his words on the female part almost exactly like Celine. He is a voice chameleon but you can hear his "other voice" when he sang Secret Love Song with Morissette Amon during a Wish Bus Award celebration.
Imagine if she'll "The Vocalyst" coach him 😍 why not?
@@mikeinjapan2004 I think that would be awesome. He might turn into a Pavarotti!
He has a good voice and I ask my self why he don't won the got talent,,,we are proud as a Filipino,,
amazing explanation,,,seems like a detective having a deduction in a very "surgical" precision of details 😀love it!
Homeless at young age,no formal training ..amazing talent, gift from God ...🙏🙏🙏💫🌿💖😇🕊️🕊️🕊️
He is performing the song on a bus with traffic outside.

Yes, he is singing naturally.
Undoubtedly, the greatest vocal performance I’ve ever seen.
He does that switch within a word in a Tagalog song before he won Pilipinas Got Talent.
I think when you watch his guesting on gandang gabi vice, where the host make fun of him playing ak human remote control, its mind blowing how marcelito can shift his voice anytime in between words.
Well, his nickname IS Mars...
My favorite from Pomoy is The Power of Love by Celine
Yes!
Yes, his power of love
Marcelito is a Philippines 🇵🇭 treasure. Beautiful 😍 Magnifico! Bravo 👏 👏 👏
"Con Te Partiro" in America's Got Talent's Battle of Champion
Marcelito power of love

If U want his deep voice try his original Interpretation of the song Pagbabalik and Aasa sa Awa mo Ama
YES!! I love that you listened to this YOUR way! Sometimes I have to stop recording because I don't want to pause and just need to let it all sink in.

Such a GOD GIVEN ABILITY 🙌🏽
He sang BEAUTY AND THE BEAST TALE AS OLD AS TIME Americas Got Talent
I really enjoyed your very colorful analysis and reactions. I would like you to take a look and listen to Time to say goodbye on AGT. You may probably see this one that you are looking for in terms of his solo technique.
You're a very good voice analyst and a delight to analyze singing 😇🙏🙂.
would love to see what you think about Johnny Mathis. One of my favorite if not my favorite singer. So classy and pure.
One of the best vocal teacher reactions I’ve seen and I’ve probably seen them all. Gotta sub
BEAUTY and the BEAST by Marcelito
in my humble opinion "The power of love " is a symposium on the female head voice .. It is what I think people should start to listen to him on, then hear other covers he does ..... both songs are great but really melodic singing comes in when he sings this great cover, another Celine Dion classic ..can not wait for you to react
Celine Dion: Hey Marcelito, Let's have a duet.
Marcelito: Nah, i can do both🤣🤣
I was going to refrain from commenting in these TH-cam videos but I feel compelled to do otherwise as of the thousands of reactions I have heard of this particular video, you are the only one who is just as "obsessed" with that particular note/tone; that particular "choice" he made. Gift from God he sang with what God gave him
He also does a cover of "My Heart Will Go on", & "The Power of Love"... 👍👍👍
He's amazing. Just in credible.❤
Plz also react his performance in AGT singing "time to say goodbye" tnx!!
Thanks so much...Ms Bethany..reaction to Marcelino Pomoy...Love u...
He explained elsewhere that he is spitting out Celine Dion.
up up up!!!
Yes, I agree, it is still a mystery to me too. It's a God -given talent to a very good man, Marcelito Pomoy.
Yes, it's an "in-joke": someone once had asked him whether he had swallowed a woman to sing like that, and thus he sometimes visibly spits out that woman again after the end of a song.
in my opinion this is a better performance than the AGT one
He and Morissette do a stage session for Wish 1075 annual awards or some such. He gets to sing in his voice.
Just flipped over from watching the Bass Singers reaction to this. Interesting to see you / both analysis side by side. My understanding is that Marcelito had absolutely no vocal training - is entirely self taught and of course, has perfect pitch.
One has to wonder where he might be today if he'd had formal training from early years, but what he's achieved, vocally and otherwise* in his life is TRULY GREAT.
# He was an abandoned street orphan by age 7, trying to care for a younger sibling, and was adopted by a policeman. Pls. React to another Marcelito Pomoy singing “The Power Of Love “LIVE on the wish bus by Celine Dion
The technicality of how to produce those notes in both Male and Female parts with the knowledge that Mr. Pomoy is only self thought is just so immaculate. Fun fact in the early 1990's or earlier we have traditional singers called "Doble Kara" or Double Sing which they can sing both Male and Female voice but then again there are many talented Filipino. I suggest you review Ms. Regine Velasquez which is also known as Asia's Songbird, Ms. Lanie Misalucha also known as Asia's Nightingale and last one is Ms. Jaya also a Soul Diva. They are the Vocal Trinity of the Philippines
That "yawn" was letting the woman out (he's said in interviews.)
You sure need to listen to him singing “The Power Of Love”
It's only in Philippines the dual voice. Marcelito Pomoy the mega singer in the world.
BRTAINS GOT TALENT ---BEAUTIY IN THE BEAST HE SINGS 4 SONGS ON THERE ALL BEAUTIFUL
I think this was the time he had no professional coaching yet or just the start of his professional career after winning a Philippine’s AGT equivalent….
DEAR COACH REMEMBER THAT MARCELITO HAVE NO TRADITIONAL AND EXPENSIVE VOCAL TRAINING ! HE IS SELF THAUT AND IS A NATURAL TALENT ! 👍
Must MUST view Marcelito song "the power of love". Insane
Never Enough and PERFECT 🥰🎉🎉PLEASE
mrs.Bethany Hickman You made such a beautiful descriptive comment that I was amazed.thank you very much
More Marcelito Ms pretty vocal Coach!!! Loved your reaction ☺️
when he look like he was yawning at the end he was actually making a gesture of losing my breath on that last note
One of the best reactions to this cover. Very technical.
I love how you assess / analyse the video. You don't just react but you give information or more of educate us about what the artist is doing.
I hope you'd do a reaction video to KZ Tandingan singing Rolling in the Deep, Royals, and Say Something on The Singer (a singing competition in China)
Also, do react on Darren Espanto's rendition of Chandelier & I Believe on the Wish Bus.
I understand that this is a "reaction channel" but, stopping and rewinding it over a dozen times is an OVERKILL....
He was told by the people at the Wish Bus that he swallowed the 2 singers so you see him at the very end appear to yawn but he was letting the 2 singers out...was a joke to the people there.
❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
Now that is talent
Still waiting for you to react to more of Marcelito Pomoy.
love that reaction ❤️❤️❤️
Thnkyou for reaction ❤️
He also sings, Time to Say Goodbye
I think he said that the gesture at the end was supposed to represent expelling the female spirit.
Hey, he also does a great cover of: "Never Enough", frm the broadway play: "The Biggest Showman"; sung by "Loren Allred"
I'm excited too..there are a lot of songs he sang..like Despacito..Never Enough. and so many more...goodluck!!! Love your reaction anyway =)
You have some of the best energies on this thing
