My father passed away when I was 15, in 1979. I remember this song coming on in the car on the way to the cemetery. My mom was crying and I asked her if I should change the station and she wouldn’t let me. This song is so beautiful and it will always make me think of my mom and dad. ❤

So the fun part is seeing Amber speak from the heart, and Jay buying into styles of music of all types. The best reaction show on youtube.

I just came home from a funeral for a former colleague of mine (a young doctor I used to work with) who passed away at only 42 from cancer. I was feeling down and decided I needed a little Jay and Amber to perk things up. This was such a nice song to be reacting to because even though it's obviously meant as a love song, I feel so much of it applied to the personality of my colleague. They were playing songs before the service started and this would have been so perfect. That she "decorated" our lives. RIP Candria Elyse Krywko, O.D.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's tough, and many people, I've found, don't understand why the bond with a colleague can be so strong. I lost a gentleman I co-taught with, and the loss rippled through my teaching for years. I never met anyone I clicked with in his department with whom to restart the program.

I got to see Kenny in concert and he sounds just as good live as he does on his albums. Thinking about that concert reminds me of his opening artist. Her name is Crystal Gayle and probably one of her most popular songs was "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue". Maybe you could put her on your female Friday list. :)

I just heard the best song for y'all to ever cover and I think it would be a song both of y'all would just love. It's a bluegrass song by one of the best bluegrass singers ever, Ricky Skaggs and to make even more awesome, he's singing it with Barry Gibb at the Grand Ole Opry!! The video is titled When the Roses Bloom Again - Barry Gibb & Ricky Skaggs. It's got over 2 mil views I could rewatch it over and over.

Amber! Your expression and body language at 1:13 - 1:16 spoke VOLUMES! This romantic song describes how the singer's life was bland, empty and bereft of color or flavor and we are to think of him pitifully. He thanks her because she changed his life to being full of color, flovor and life in the fullest. We should all be so fortunate.

OK I will try this again. People we have to get these two to react to Red Sovine. One of the greatest story tellers in country music. With songs like "Teddy Bear" , "Phantom 309" , "Daddy's Girl". If any of you don't know this artist you owe it to yourself to give him a listen. Start with Teddy Bear. You will understand why I am actually desperate for them to react to this song.

To hear Amber say she loves the stories from Woodstock. She must be hearing what people 'think' they remember. Woodstock was super cool because of the artists performing and in my opinion this is all it had going for it. The ground was muddy, slush mud not just damp ground. There weren't enough porta potties, so people were pissing and shitting where they could (including their pants), vendors ran out of food and drink so that sucked. The drugs were out of control with over 700 overdoses. I heard 3 dudes died. Then after the concert a dude who was passed out in the field was run over by a tractor the farmer was using to clean up. In my opinion, Woodstock was a great line up of artists, but a literal shit show of a venue and vendors.
