Honestly, the Mimaki machines did not overly impress me. Everything that they did well, it seems like there is another machine out there that not only does it just as well, but cheaper. Unless their support is far and beyond better than anyone else I don't see why you would not pick a Xante machine over Mimaki for the bigger size or a Mutoh for the smaller size. Unless their cost of ink is so much cheaper then their competitors, that is one thing I did not nitpick at the show.
I agree. The $63k price for the bigger machine doesn't feel worth it to me. The bigger Mutoh is about half the price. I didn't get exact numbers from everyone, but I know the ink doesn't vary much printer to printer. The machine cost is a bigger factor in all of them.
Would you choose the Mutoh 661UF over the Mimaki and the Roland? Thanks
@@orangesuite my personal choice would be the Mutoh, but that's just me.
Mutoh seems like the best value
Or mimaki
Or logojet idk
what is the name of the RIP Software?
I believe the Mimaki flatbed uses rasterlink7. I'm trying to get in touch with each vendor to record a demo on their software too.
