    I need to do some research as to why these are so expensive. I really want one but they're way out of my budget range. Nice video!

      Thanks for the comment. Yes, they are expensive for sure. You can buy less expensive ones direct from China but you won’t get the support and training that comes with a local purchase. Spending that much money you definitely want to start making it back asap.

    V7000 is not entry level. It's a beast of a machine.

    Definitely not entry level. Dude did the wrong research

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Entry level doesn't necessarily imply bad or mediocre. In the beginning of the video I mentioned the criteria for what I was considering entry level. The criteria were 4x8 bed, had to print white and clear and come in under $100k. Since the majority of the 4x8 flatbed printers exceed $150k, I would consider a 4x8 bed under $100k "entry level" no matter how good a printer is. The Epson printer is amazing there is no disputing that. As for my research, I sold wide format printers for more than 20 years and Epson wide format printers for over 10 years so I'm pretty familiar with the product lines and their capabilities.

      @@graphicinsights466 …. People think entry level printers come from Best Buy, or some other box store. And if you’re looking for those type of printers then Best Buy should work. But when you get to commercial grade and industrial level printing the the price difference is significantly higher. I paid $6500 for my used Roland VersaCamm and it was a great deal. So I get it!
      Thank you!

      An entry level flatbed UV printer is gonna be starting at $70 grand. If you get anything cheaper, you're buying cheap chinese BS that will break and you'll have no support.

    Cool video series! 1 catch, the JFX200 has only 2 print heads, not 3. I have 2 of them, nice printers.

      I appreciate your insight and expertise on the JFX200 printers. It's awesome to have viewers like you sharing their knowledge. Yes, they are great printers. I'm certainly capable of making a mistake and I strive to put the most accurate info in my videos so I went back and double checked Mimaki's site and actually the 2513 (discussed in the video) does have 3 heads. It may be confused with the 2531 which only has 2 heads.

      @tomTrophy หลายเดือนก่อน

      The new jfx200-2513EX does, in fact, have 3 heads. 2 cmyk heads, and a third head for clears, whites, and primer inks.
      In fact, the older nonEX JFX is no longer available new. Only the 3 head version is available in 2024 forward.

    you need the Nvidia AI (Broadcaster...it is free) that makes your eyes look forward so it doesn't look like you are reading a book... also the bell sound is super loud. interesting though.

    100k, for entry level, how much are pro printers costing?

    • @graphicinsights466
      @graphicinsights466  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are pricey but can pay for themselves quickly when you take into consideration the time saved from trimming and mounting graphics to substrates. The production flatbeds usually start at $125k and average $150-250k. There are a few over $500k.

      it is crazy but you can sell single wall prints for over $100 per print and print to order so you only have to hold raw material inventory, you print 5 to 10 prints per day easy and you're out the red in a year and then that printer is printing you 15k a month.

    Playing fast and loose with the term "entry level" here lol. In no world is nearly 100k entry level for anything.

      @@graphicinsights466 For those who aren't exposed to the volume part of the print industry (where my print business sits) 100k on any equipment labelled entry level sounds absurd. I was a little surprised the Canon 135gt didn't make it to the list, but i'm unsure of the retail price in the US.

      We live in a world where a pickup truck costs 100k. So a wide format UV printer that is delivered, set up, calibrated, with full parts and service warranty, with two days on site training, and helping purchaser setup first production runs, for 100k, well, that is a far better value than aforementioned truck.

    $90000 "entry level" pricetag,. pff,. you'll be selling an unborn child just for a single ink cartridge..
