  • Hi guys, welcome back to another wig education video! Today, we are looking at repairing a synthetic wig! It's something I covered before but we have so many new people and I get asked all the time. This synthetic wig tutorial is a must-know wig hack for all wig wearers. I use this method to restore wigs all the time!

I started wearing Halo's and want it to look natural. I watched many of your videos. I learned so much. Would love to know a hone made product to keep it softer. I know you said silicon is good.
I did section off the hair, and cut in five sections. It looks good. Thank you

fabric softener works really well to wash and put back the softness into them. Especially if you use a fabric steamer.

Jesse, I don't wear heat synthetic wigs so I can't use a hot comb but when I use a hot air brush on the ends of my wig, to tame those crunchy ends occasionally, should I spray the ends first(I've only got water, I have no other products)? I've asked a lot of people on TH-cam and they all have different views on it. Also, that wig is super cute, thanks for the video. x

Yes, if you're trying to repair the ends I would say spraying it down with water would be best if you don't have anything else.

What if my wig is not heat friendly? The ends are so nasty and like a rats nest

Steam can be a good option. I have a video on how to repair a wig using a fabric steamer.
