Or where I can look to find some? ty Jesse
HI, Did you notice any difference in the reg. and the bambu silicon mix? Also do you ever let it sit in a baggie over night after applying the Bambu Mix?
Until you think you rinse it out enough... and then rinse it some more! Lol. There are so many factors that go into it. Length of the wig, density of the wig, how much you put in, how the fibers react to the product, etc. I can't give you a definite time but do it until you feel like it's all gone and then do it some more to make sure.
Someone told me to put the mixture on the wig then put it it a ziploc bag, close it, and leave for an hour, then rinse. Would that work? Would it hurt to leave overnight?? Thanks for your help ❤
Do you have any suggestions for a human hair (non-remy) wig that is clumping together because of the cuticles? This is my favorite wig and I don't know what to do to save it. Thanks in advance...
I always wonder how much to rinse the wig after doing this. Is there a certain amount of time you place under water? Hate to rinse all the product just put in.
No. The reason being is synthetic fibers do not absorb products like hair would so you use the silicone mix because it coats the fibers with that silicone that’s in the conditioning treatment where as a normal leave in conditioner is going to have things in it that are meant to be absorbed by your hair. Hope that makes sense.
@@soniabrown7151 it does but you will lose any curl pattern you have. Doing a fabric softener soak in hot water will make Your wig really soft but also straight.
Jesse; I followed your directions, exactly, but my wig still came out with the ends feeling like straw, not silky and floppy like yours in the video. What did I do wrong? All of mine are heat friendly synthetic wigs.
If it’s a heat safe wig I would recommend adding this product directly to the wig and then wrapping it in some foil or Saran Wrap then use a blow dryer to warm up the ends of the hair that are fried/damaged. I let it warm up then sit on there for 30 mins. After make sure you rinse super, super, super well. That should help a lot more with the ends of the wig. I just did this like this to one that was so bad and it’s like new now. I will be making an updated video soon! 😊
So I'm semi brand new to wigs. New enough to have spent a lot of money on human hair blends that lasted me 3 months and had to toss and get a new one... 😫 I'm about to order a synthetic wig from Kryssma and I love it so much that I want to do everything I can to keep it as long as I can. I do wear my wigs 24/7 so I expect it to not last as long. But I've seen people talk about years! So I'm doing my research before I order my next one. Now, I have gone through endless products to protect and care for my wigs. I usually let my wig air dry and I'll straighten it with a Chi flat iron once it is dry. So I'm asking (begging) for professional advice. My normal routine with my wigs consist of washing it at least twice a week. I use shampoos and conditioners without harsh chemicals. Always use cold water. Once I'm done washing it, I treat it with a heat protector and leave-in conditioner. Normally, my wigs turn out to be super soft but only for the first day...lol. Because of tangling, I tend to brush my wigs a lot. I hate the tangled look. But friction happens. But no matter what I do, nothing seems to stop my wigs from looking fried. I'm not sure if it has to do with the fact that they have been human hair blends or what but I really want to keep my new wig in its best shape and not have to keep throwing them away from going beyond repairable... I've seen so many different ways, techniques and products and I just want to know the best way to care for a synthetic wig that is being worn 24/7. Please help!
I wouldn't recommend getting that brand especially coming from human hair there are a lot of things you can do to prolong the wear of your synthetic wigs but they are definitely not going to wear as well or as long as a human hair wig will. You also want to try to avoid over brushing synthetic wigs and you would want a good wig spray made for synthetic wigs since most of the products you have are probably specifically made for human hair. If you look at my playlist how to make a wig look natural there are a lot of videos there that will help you maintain your wigs. I have a waist spray that you can order right underneath any one of my videos. Also make sure you have a wig brush that is specifically made for wigs. I hope that helps if you need further help you can always reach out to me at wigsupport@jmsimons.com.

If it was a curled or wavy synthetic wig, do I comb it before or after it air dries?
You can lightly finger comb if needed when wet but you should wait to brush your wigs until dry.
Brushing the wig out on a towel on a table is the best idea I have seen. Point on. Plus your nails are FLEEK. great color
Thank you so much! It really does help your wigs last so much longer!!
Amazing!
Hy sis, do you know any other alternative product that is very good but lesser than silicon mix
Not that will do what this stuff does. You need the silicone to coat the fibers which is why this stuff works really well.

@@JesseMSimons yeah! plz, any help will be much appreciated🙌🙌
Is the wig you worked on a “heat friendly” wig or regular synthetic material? Thanks!
Heat friendly
You put the silicone.mix on dry?
Yes I do. The hair doesn’t absorb like hair normally does and I don’t want the water to repel the conditioning mix off the wig fibers.
How did the non bamboo conditioner compare with the one containing bamboo?
The smell and thickness are the biggest difference I’ve noticed
Why is silicone used? Why not just the fabric softener? What is its benefit?
It helps coat the fibers and help lower the damage caused by the fibers rubbing together and causing friction which caused matting and damage.
What should I use for static with my wig??
Dryer sheets
Can you do the same with a 100% natural hair wig??
Yes you can use this product of human hair as well. Just make sure to rinse very well so it doesn’t leave any residue. 😊
HI, Did you notice any difference in the reg. and the bambu silicon mix? Also do you ever let it sit in a baggie over night after applying the Bambu Mix?
I don’t like the smell of the original one at all. But as far as how they worked on the wig they both did the same thing.
Thanks for doing this video! I tried the original Silicone Mix, but it smelled soooo strong. I will try the Bambu version!
Yeah I hate the original ones smell!!
THANKS for the tip!!
Can you use fabric softener on heat defiant wigs????
Yes.
@@JesseMSimons thank you!!! How much in a basin of water?
What temp do you want the water when you put her in?
Room temp or cool water if it’s a wavy or curly style. If it is straight you can use warm water.

I let it sit for atleast 30 mins and then I rinse it out for a really long time to make sure I get all the product out.

Yes you can do this just make sure you rinse really really really well! 😊
Can I just do the Fabric softener soak ? So I leave it in the soak for an hr ?
You can do a fabric soak but rinse it well.
How do I comb off the tangles on a curly wig?
You want to use either my detangling wig brush or a wide tooth comb and start at the bottom working your way up.
Would you want to have it wet first or dry?
You can do it either way. I like to do dry if it need a lot of help.
