What if you were the oppressor where you thought you were being oppressed by someone else? What if you were the aggressor instead of the victim? What if you were the one who wronged someone else? Perspective is often a flash of insight from Allah that helps you grow and realize how you could've been better, and that introspection can be one of the greatest gifts He has bestowed upon you that can change your qadar completely.

Note: Only vocals were used in the making of the soundtrack.
As we venture into the space of producing higher quality media, we’ve worked hard to make sure that our compliance with our religious ethics is not sacrificed. While Yaqeen has always produced vocals for our Ramadan series, this series was unique in that it also included the story of a family in the background. Our talented production team worked with our scholars to ensure that all actors were in proper hijab, and that all gender interactions were only by Mahrams in real life. We’re grateful to the team for its wonderful effort, and grateful to the families that agreed to participate.

Growing up is realizing that you’d rather be hurt than be the cause of someone else’s pain. When I was younger, I used to get mad at myself for not standing up to someone or letting someone take advantage of me but now I’m ashamed when I talk bad about someone or say/do hurtful things to others. May Allah forgive us and empower us to be kind and gracious in every circumstance.
This is beautiful insight. Thanks for sharing!
Saying/doing hurtful things to others is wrong, but i believe standing up for oneself isn't. Because if you can't stand up for yourself, how will you stand up for others? But we should be gentle and soft in that too 😊
i also do this still. My friend tells me that i need to be assertive and stand up for myself so i used to see this as a bad quality until i saw your comment. Jazakallah khair for showing me the true blessing of this. I've starting becoming more rude and have been unintentionally hurting people and i really wish i had never thought of myself in a a negative way and stayed patient as i was. Alhamdulillah i still have time to change myself as have only recently started becoming less patient. Jazakallah khair for the reminder.
Amin
Allahuma Ameen
Instead of focusing on the harm people can do to you, focus on the harm you can do to others... 😢

Sister you are stronger than you know. If he's not interested despite your efforts, he's already made up his mind. Will pray for you to find your way with or without him❤
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O Allah, bring our hearts together, reconcile between us, guide us to ways of peace, and deliver us from darkness into light. Keep us away from immorality, outwardly and inwardly, and bless us in our hearing, our seeing, our hearts, our spouses, and our children. Accept our repentance, for You alone are the Relenting, the Merciful. Make us grateful for Your blessings, praising and accepting them, and give them to us in full.”

I see my self too wallai like am watching me on tv ..SubhaAllah❤
Same 😢
It's so hard... When you have lived your entire life in survival/fight mode - to one day stop fighting, stop standing up for yourself and to give up arguments for the sake of Allah.
When the whole world taught you to be strong, to fight back, to fight for yourself... Allah tells us - it is better to be harmed than to harm others and not retaliate or speak Ill!
The knowledge sometimes leaves me feeling lost, May Allah grant me guidance and the ability to change myself and to gain his pleasure.
This was beautifully put! More strength to you❤
Salaam. I feel you. Though it is better to be harmed than harm, do remember your life, your soul is also Allah’s amanah to you, which you must protect, safeguard and cherish, for it will be returned to Allah one day. Thus, we should not put ourselves in position of harm willingly. And when we do encounter such situations, remember boundaries are not only set vocally but with actions. So you might refrain from arguing for the sake of Allah, you can for exmaple distance yourself and if possible walk away for the sake of yourself. 😊 Looking out for others rights while protecting yourself as well. ❤️
this was such a hard episode to watch. I feel like I have wronged many people due to a mix of immaturity and bad experience of being harmed and I don't have the courage to fix things or admit it I can only ask Allah to forgive me and on their behalf and make me a better person in the future. AstaghfirAllah.
Break that pride and go say sorry to them so long they're stillalive itc the best for u
You and me both. I hope Allah will give us strength to apologize.
😢 I always end up crying when watching this series, it moves me , melt my heart and i hope to be calmer in every tests and I'm praying to be better Muslimah. May Allah help us through 🙏 .jazakumullahu bi khayr
Agreed 😢
Everyone let’s say Alhamdulliah! Please say it multiple times everyday, Allah has given us so many blessings that we may not even realize. Here are a few out of the many:
1) the ability we can see beautiful sunsets, lush nature, and so much more Subhanallah! Think of so many people who don’t have this privilege 😞
2) most of us reading this are healthy. Alhamdulliah. Don’t only make dua to allah when you are sick, do it at all times! If you are sick, please comment below so I can pray for you!
3) ALLAH HAS GUIDED US. We are so lucky Alhamdulliah. Most of us reading this pray 5 times a day, do dhikr, and much more! Allah chose us out of so many and didn’t turn our hearts blind. ALHAMDULLIAH!
Say Alhamdulliah at least 5 times a day. May allah reward you all and bless you Amin. Inshallah we will all meet in jannah. ❤

Sheikh Omar Suleiman is a wonderful storyteller ! This series is absolutely amazing. I wish Ramadan was a year long so we could have a longer series to watch :)
I am such a mujrimm to my rabb and nabi for not living up to a proper muslim standard . Ya rabi and rasool please forgive me and give me shade in your shade 😢😢😢😢 SHEIK OMAR SULEIMAN, A GIFT FROM ALLAH TO THIS UMMAH AND WORLD 🌎♥🙏❤💖💕
All of us lack in some way or another may Allah forgive us for our shortcomings and make us better muslims.
It is important to understand brother that we only ask Allah for forgiveness and not nabi (peace be upon him).
Salaam Alaikum, i just want to respectfully correct your post. You don't ask Rasool for forgiveness. Only Allah forgives. May Allah forgive us all
Akhii Hussain my Allah forgive us all yes we need Allah. Just a quick reminder just say Allah forgive me not ya rasuul forgive me only Allah forgive his servant. Thanks akhi
May Allah SWT for give us all Ameen

This video came here today just for me, exactly in the moment when inside my heart I was just feeling like everyone’s attacking me. It’s so important to always take time off to introspect into our own selves. And that is how we make our prayers even more meaningful.
I always thought and hated that I don’t speak up and people take me as weak. But I just keep thinking about hereafter which pacifies me.
SubhanAllah, the way he explains really touch the heart. I look forward to hear him for the sake of Allah every morning, May Allah bless him in this world and hereafter, Ameen

"Your being on the lookout for the vices hidden within you is better than your being on the lookout for the
invisible realities veiled from you."
"Hikmah #32 Al-Hikam Al Ataa'iyyah".
I didn't understand the second line.. Can you elaborate?
I keep thinking back on how selfish i was when i was younger.. i wish i could hug my mom and tell her sorry for not being greatful enough for all her sacrifices and suffering she endured for me.. 😢 watching this now
I wanna make Du’aa to the editing team. What a beautiful editing.
Always treat your partner with kindness and never take them for granted as you will end up losing them quality is important
I've always loved Imam Omar Suleimans Ramadan series - but now I can't wait to see the next episode- this is the power of storytelling, I've spent all day wondering whos on the other side of that door 😂😂
lol the suspense
Work of art 👌May Allah accept your good deeds, brothers and sisters🤲
Ameen 🤲🏾
Aameen summa Aameen ❤
What do you do when you’re guilty of all this😢…what do you do when you feel you have wronged people, even after seeking for their forgiveness you still feel guilty!😔
Continue to seek forgiveness until your heart feels at peace. You want Allahs forgiveness which can lead to the forgiveness from others. And then have husnal dhan in Allah. He does not forsake those who sincerely repent and do tawbah.

Is it me or everyone can relate this series
"Allah tested you through people and he tested people through you. But the more you seek to be the blessing that he sent to others , the more he starts to send you people to be a blessing to you"
I used to have a boss who wronged a lot of people including me and he always justified his agressions against others he was mentally sick, I pushed me to hate my job, my career and quit my job and til now I still pray may Allah is my suffice and my best deputy it was two years ago
Sheikh omar jazzak allah khairan. You’re the best gift from Allah to the ummah at its darkest period.
This series is One of the best parts of the day!!!!!
This series is an eye opener, Alhamdulillah!! It is sooo soothing and you get to learn a lot. Mashaa Allah! Jazakallahu bi Jannah Dr. Omar. May Allah continue to forgive us all, guide us to the right path and accept our duas! Ameen.🤲🏼
Was waiting for this episode so eagerly. Imagine the relief I got when I saw its notification. May Allah make us better Muslims
This episode really brought tears to my eyes. What a blessing you have made this for us this year MashAllah.
this episode is about self accountability as we have to remind ourselves that we might wrong doing someone else when we thought that we were the wronged one. Allah tested us thru people and Allah tested people thru us too. May we repent to Allah.
Ameen . It’s such a tough thing to do .
I’m in love with these series’s, the lessons are profound. Thanks to the entire team, Jazakhallah khairan Dr. Omar Suleiman
I have learned not to have a victim mentality ..subhanAllah....how deep islam is
My dad always advises me to fear Allah in the way I deal with people. Don't cheat, steal or lie against anyone. If they do that to you Allah will relieve you and give you the best. May Allah guide us to the right path 🤲
Amaaazing... can't wait for tomorrow's episode... i really resonate with the guy in the narration... waiting for that good news :) Lol
I love this series so much! The lectures are amazing and the story-telling is a masterpiece! Today's episode was spot on. All too often we harm others without even realizing that we are the ones at fault. May Allah protect us all and may He save us all from becoming bankrupt on the Day of Judgment. The story of the man who killed 100 people but still ended up in Jannah gives me hope. Whatever damage we caused others we may not be able to undo, but it is not too late for our redemption.
The last seconds of this video are the moments that no one can ever forget...The weight is lifted off after a long sabr and praising the One ,praying and asking Allah for what's the best , for me, asking for patience....That moment has mixed emotions. No one has ever been that blessed and i am not sure if it can happen or not but whenever good or trials comes, i wish to see Allah and cry out in front of Him ( SWT) ..I know it sounds wierd but that's what i feel in my trials and good times..then i only do Sujood to thank Allah for what i already have Alhumdulilah......SubhanAllah this series is a blessing to watch... jazakAllahokhayrankaseera Mr. Omar Sulaiman and the whole team....
SubhanAllah may Allah SWT forgive us all and allow us to make things right with the ones we’ve wronged and help heal the hearts we may have broken.
Amen 😢
Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni
So grateful to have watched this episode. May Allah reward Sh Omar and his team and all Muslims jannatul firdaws, AAAmeen!

Absolutely beautiful series, Sheikh Omer Sulaiman voice is so soothing. JazakAllah, may Allah protect you and family
Such a heart wrenching video but SubhanAllah that knowing cheeky look of the Dad at the end 😂❤

SubhanAllah, I didn't expect that kind of twist. An eye opener, MashaAllah
Just a reminder to say Subhan Allah Alhamdu lil Allah La illaha illa Allah Allahu Akbar
May Allah make it easy for us. Ameen🙏🏾

Mashallah this is really enlightening and presented beautifully that major points reach your heart. I got tear eyed when Hassan apologised to his parents. May Allah give jaza al khair to all those who are a part of this beautiful series. Aameen.
Balance is a key word. Do no harm and not let others harm you as much as possible.
Love you sheikh, love your work and love you for the sake of Allah.
I just feel so happy watching these series 😊 Marsha Allah may Allah bless you and your family. May Allah accept all our Duas and keep us on the right path. Amin ❤ love you all for the sake of Allah.
All praise and thanks and praise belongs to Allah that I've always been the victim of bullying, from my teens to adulthood and not the perpetrator of bullying against others. Alihamdulilah that I've always been the victim of slander, gossip and backbiting, but not the perpetrator of those evils. Alihamdulilah for making a person who tries to avoid harming others as well as they harming me.
I absolutely look fwd to the next clip. It’s so soul touching. Explained perfectly. Jazak Allahu khairan shaikh Umar.
That cliffhanger....😊
Dua, we can say when we hurt others 👇
Abu Hurairah رضى الله عنه narrated that he heard The Prophet say,"*O Allah! if I should ever abuse a believer, so make that a means of bringing him near to you on the day of standing."*
I feel enlightened by your amazing videos, I am trying to find out more about Islam. 😊
May Allah gives us good characters Ameeen
When Allah AWA test I in difficulty, it's lesson in life. Allah AWA wnt give u burden, that u can't handle. If u had sabr in u heart ❤️, Allah AWA answer u in mysterious way. When u a believer, and believe in the unseen . U worship like u seen . U only worship one God and that is , Allah AWA. The most merciful and forgiveness of all sins . If u got takwah and emaan in u ,u life is calm and u can see when peoples negative, u walk away . Good Muslim is to have sabr on j heart , of any difficulties. When u in frustration in sujood , cry and complain to Allah AWA. If u dnt be blessed in this world, u will be rewarded argierah, the year after..May Allah AWA make it was for us,grant us nur ,light in our cabr, gheir and Baraka. And u face will shine from all the blessings, give u olso hur on u face . A hearts that heal, in u body, happy heart give u pure soul . Ameen
JazakalLahu kheyr sheikh, pray for me please to get job.
The cliffhangers 😭 this is the mother of all Ramadan series Mashallah
May Allah reward with the highest reward all the people involved in producing these beautiful videos. it’s the best thing I’ve seen like… ever.
Notes and points of reflection from this video ✨
If you feel like you have Allah, you have everything and if you don’t feel like you have Allah you have nothing
It’s a gift from Allah to know how you can improve and become better from your mistakes
Some people may be given more in this world because thier hearts are weaker than yours
To harm someone here is to harm yourself in the hereafter. How do I protect myself from someone’s anger? How do I not be that person who harms someen through my anger, hypocrisy?
If you endure someone’s harm here it’s reward in the hereafter
Be the slave of Allah who is murdered not the one who murders, be the slave of Allah who is wronged not the wrongdoer
THE EYE OF THE HYPOCRITE ALWAYS LOOK OUTWARDS AT OTHER PEOPLES FAULT IN A SITUATION WHILE THE EYE OF THE BELEUVER LOOKS INWARDS
Hypocrites feel like any shout is against them they take things personally and USE IT TO JUSTIFY THEIR BAD BEHAVIORS THAT THEY DO NEXT
Hypocrites are insecure and even if it has nothing to do with them they take it personally and use it to justify their bad behavior later on
While the believer excuse those who are offending them, THEY WATCH THE TONE OF THEIR VOICE to make sure they are not being offensive.
So when you are hurt and feel attacked, FORGIVE THEM FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH, and respond in a gentle kind manner. And if proving your perspective is hard just leave it and seek Allahs reward.
If you always make yourself out to be the victim you’re blind to the HARM YOU HAVE CAUSED
Rarely is either side of the conflict a 100% right, like you can be 30% wrong which you have to own and take responsibility for and seek the reward for dealing with the other persons 70% wrong
WHOEVER FORGIVES THE WAY PEOPLE SPEAK TO YOU THEIR HEAVY REWARD IS WITH ALLAH
THIS AN OPPORTUNITY TO FORGIVE THOSE WHO FELT LIKE THEY ATTACKED YOU OR MADE TOU HURT THAT DAY TO FORGIVE THEM EVERY NIGHT
The righteous incline toward these qualities:
Having a generous soul
To be patient despite being harmed (by words, tones, even the fact that they pointed out you were wrong and felt attacked and unloved)
Having pleasant speech (respectful way, with no triggering negative tone)
Respond to that evil with goodness, if you have done such great injustice to someone and can never redeem yourself to them , use that sin as a catalyst to bring justice to everyone else and never be like tha
May Allah bless and protect you
May Allah ease all your hardship insha'Allah
Watching this reminded to me how I used to think I was the victim when my parents didn't treat me well sometimes. We tend to forget how we have hurt others, which is so true! This episode was a great reminder.
May Allah bless sheik Omar suleiman.ameen All the series ihv watched are mashaAllah so beautiful ,well elaborated.may Allah preserve him and bless his team also for such good work.Allahumma Ameen
“Allahumma inni a’udhu bika an adilla aw udalla,, aw azilla aw uzilla, aw azlima aw uzlama, aw ajhala aw yujhala ‘alayya”
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from going astray, or being led astray, from slipping, or being caused to slip, from wronging others or being wronged, and from behaving or being treated in an ignorant manner
Gem of a series💎💎 May Allah (SWT) bless all those involved in it's making😇
