No offense but tahajud doesnt remove stress at all, at least from my experience doing it for couple times.. as matter of fact it give me sleep deprivation in morning. Iam not energized as i used to.. Plus the recommendations to sleep early in order to wake up easily before subuh sometimes give me wondering in bed for hours unable to sleep, time wasting. Many try to bring tahajjud from health, psychological perspective, iam sorry i dont get that benefit they are promising for. I dont know, maybe i do it wrong, personally i do tahajud as everyone say, if you have things in life supplication in last third of nigt would be good idea..
I think staying strong and continuing despite not seeing effects of it would benefit you. Maybe, relief is just around the corner. Everything happens according to Allah's timing
I understand your point, but I had to completely change that mindeset, and asked myself: isn’t hypocritical? that I wake up only to “feel good” and to get my duaa answered ? Sleep deprivation, I’m going to die anytime why do I have to worry about sleep !! It is not easy, if It was easy everyone would be doing it, it takes discipline, it takes sacrifice but We re doing it for the sake of Allah SWT, the quran is gonna testify for the believer on the day of judgement saying : I kept him from sleeping at night and that’s what’s gonna grant us Shafaaa that day Insha’Allah taala. The Goal is not only in this Dunya, but in the afterlife too.
OML! I used believe that as well, but Tahajud has transform my life (I am not regular)... I used to believe that stress & depression are mental illness should be treated accordingly, Tahajud, Tasbeeh or Salah have nothing to do with it... And I wish someone have told me this what I am going to tell you... Tahajud is a Lifestyle that makes things easy for you, comforts you, make you believe that don't worry your Lord, your Rabb is here with you he is greater than any of your stress, worries or wishes...! He is omnipotent, he can remove your stress...! He is Al-Wadood (the affectionate/ the most loving) and Al-Wali (the Helper/ the Friend) and so on...! When you believe that, and pray and realize that now your matter is in the most Safest Hands, you get relaxed...! Tahajud is a way to firm believe, the believe that removes your stress...! The believe that Who saved Abraham (AS) from fire will save me, the believe that Who saved, prepared and made Joseph (PBUH) minister will Honor me, the believe that Who blessed Moses with the best in his worst condition will bless me as well... To achieve that believe which removes stress, you need to love Tahajud, that can't happen without love of Allah Almighty & firm believe in Him...! I want to write more (what do i do), because I have experienced the transformation from stressful to peaceful life...! Tahajud changes you lifestyle, are you ready for the change?
You lack the faith in your practice of the deen - praying to Almighty is not a dose of medicine/ that it will give you results instantaneously- you call out to your Lord to worship Him only - not to ask this and that .

I didn't pray right except for Ramadan, so one ramadan 2 years ago I did qiyam el Layl and since then my connection to God has become strong and it actually brings me joy to stand and pray and have that special quiet moment when everyone is asleep. Since then God has been on my side el 7amdulilah. I tried meditations and energy healing and a million things but nothing healed me except praying to Allah. I swear I wish I can shout it out to everyone no need for all of these things all u need is Qur'an and prayer
Once you get that yaqeen you got it hold that emaan very strongly..qiyamu leil is everything everyone is serching and those who dont know qiyamul leil is priceless

When u wake up for tahajjud, pray tahajjud then some zikar azkar, make dua and wait for fajar, as soon as u hear azan, pray fajr ❤
