Lee is not just the name of the Earth Kingdom kid, but is later explicitly stated to be an extremely common name in the Fire Nation. When forced to think on his feet, he chose the Fire Nation equivalent of John Smith.
Where did you hear that they're called ozai's angels? I'm curious because it sounds familliar but I never rlly see that name for their squad. Ah but speaking of squad names, I have a feeling you've already been told, but people tend to call our main squad the Gaang. It's kinda funny bc they literally have a team name (team avatar) but Gaang is pretty fun and I love the pun. 3:29 he actually used the name lee before when he and iroh met song (the girl he stole the ostritch horse from). That's where mushi comes from too. So In zuko alone when they ask him to introduce himself he fumbles because the little boy has the same name as his cover, which I think is rlly funny. Mei flat out disobeying Azula makes sense, imho back in their introduction Ty Lee seems scared of Azula while Mei joined up with her because she was bored.
Lee is indeed the same name, but likely more a coincidence as explained by other comment stating it's common. After all, the names Lee ("Junior") and Mushi had to be thought of already while being mended from touching the White Jade plant in EP2 😉
