So it's gonna be too difficult for everybody to catch on that. PS. Even when Wing gave instructions to Gon and Killua, all of them still don't really know what it was.

9:30 Actually, Hisoka is a freak for sure, but what always made him turn on is that because he loves to fight with strong people or potentially very strong people. If you can remember, he turned on because of Chrollo or even Leorio and Kurapika as well. I know, to turn on when seeing two children is terrible, but it's not pure sexual things actually, it's about his twisted mind that always gets him turned on when he wanted to fight.

I think you might have mentioned you’re doing live action before Korra. Since it doesn’t seem to be too late, I think you should maybe reconsider. We were introduced to Korra long before the live action. And while it’s not entirely dominant, some general stuff from Korra does make it into the live action (I tried to be as vague as possible without spoiling.)

Ooh, I have a real controversial opinion: I'm not a huge fan of Mai. I'm not a huge shipper in Avatar in general because I think they're all still quite young (although to be fair, in the old days, people did get married quite young). To clarify, I do have some relationship related opinions though, like Jin would be a good person for Zuko to have a teenage-level relationship with (I don't care about marriage or anything like that); I think Zuko and Mai have an unhealthy relationship; and I think Prince SozinxRoku would have been a good for Sozin. With Mai and Zuko, for some reason I guess I never found their relationship believable. We knew Mai had a crush on Zuko but that's it. It was a sudden leap from Mai's crush and Zuko being unsure of himself after choosing to betray Uncle Iroh and help Azula at the end of Book 2 to suddenly Zuko and Mai are kissing on a ship at the beginning of Book 3. I just don't think she was given much depth beyond the bored spoiled rich child who was ignored by her parents archetype who enjoys fruit tarts with rose petals on them and thinks ordering servants around is "fun". The "depth" that she was given in "the Beach" episode was literally just a part of the archetype. Any others out there that aren't huge Mai fans?

I have a theory as to why Katara didn’t do it. In that moment, everything came together for her- >Yon Rah was under orders not to take prisoners >Hama was the cause of this - they couldn’t just capture waterbenders, they had to kill them It wasn’t Yon Rah’s “fault” she died. He did the deed, but he didn’t make the choice. The fire nation as a whole killed her mother, anybody would have done it. Under the Fire Lord’s orders. So he didn’t kill her mother, the Fire Lord did. I think it’s at that moment she realized the futility of taking it out on him, and I don’t even think this was fully conscious, given she can’t explain it herself.

I love that when Katara threatened Zuko after he joined the Gaang, Zuko knew she was serious but had no idea to what extent. He came with her thinking he would need to be bad cop for her, and seeing her bloodbend changed his whole perspective. He didn't know it was even a thing, and in that moment he had to realize that up until that point, she had always pulled her punches with him. He knew that the power really was in her hands. When they face Yan Rah, he takes a back seat, he doesn't interfere, he doesn't have to. I think he gained immeasurable respect and fear for her from this trip.

Zuko was never able to beat Azula before. Azula had ALWAYS overpowered Zuko. And now they are so equal at fighting. And if you notice there's major difference on how Zuko firebend now. He used to be like 'grunt' or 'groan' when he firebends, means that he used anger and rage in his firebending. After learning from the dragons (the original source of firebending), Zuko understands and is now much more calm in his firebending and didn't produce any sound of grunt or groan at all.

I love this episode. It portrays trauma, grief so well. And I love that Katara forgave Zuko but didn't forgive the man who killed her mother. You don't always need to forgive someone in order to heal.

Azula has always firebended with two fingers, demonstrating her control and restraint. This episode she bent with her fist like every other firebender. Perhaps she's losing a bit of her stability? Zuko knows what it's like to lose a mother. I think he believed she deserved the opportunity to face the man who hurt her like he got to

Next episode in a few days and then finishing the show over the next week and a half!

17:19 she couldn't have done it when she found the guy you need a full moon for blood bending. I know Zutara is a pretty big ship, but imho this episode kinda demonstrates why it doesn't work. Zuko would have just stood by and Let Katara kill that guy if she wanted to. You could argue he deserves it but even so killing someone would take a huge toll on her mental state.

FYI Bakugo doesnt remember anything about having ofa. The scene where he talked to all might is all just in his head, its kind of a death flag. Edit: It’s more like symbolism. Idk how to explain it well, but his life «flashed before his eyes», but instead of his LIFE, his WISH «flashed before his eyes». Bakugo always wanted to get an autograph by All might. I mean the guy literally carried that Card around for like 12 years💀

Always loved this dodge ball game episodes, such a fun and well written game with Hisoke feeling completely out of place which makes it even more entertaining. Now this is important, have you currently finished this arc or are close to? I ask because before you start the next arc you might want to watch an episode that the 2011 anime left out though it is in the manga and in the 1999 version. It is basically the first episode of 1999 and if you want the "manga" experience I suggest you watch it before starting the next arc, but the 2011 anime director deliberately left it out so it's technically up to you

This is by far my favorite Greed Island fight, it's such a common game, with specific rules, but incredible tension, and the team-up with Hisoka is hilarious.

I think Bisquit and Haceka are at the same level of perception, they both knew they were lying. Of course Killua is a special case in these things.

There’s something funny about how a lot of the players seem to be regular nerds who are proficient gamers who learned nen just to play this legendary game but Ging made it so you have to be good at sports to win.

Imagine being Hakoda. You get captured and your son says it wont be long until you see eachother, but he has no resources so best prepare for a long time. Before you can even settle in you get send to a different prison and when you areive in your cell there is your son coming to free you.
