Depends on husband's income and city. I mean in place like Mumbai no one wants to fill job preference there bcz cost of living is very high there. Also depends on whether they have kids. 6 lakh is too high for any place. What will she even do with that much money? In small towns for girls marriage is still a necessity as per society's demands but these type of cases are increasing even here. I live in Bihar and mom told me sth similar few months.Girl married and boy's family paid for everything and after 2 months girl demanded divorce and alimony and also threatened the family to file allegation of torture. @@ADILIBRAHIM7

    Caution About Marriage:
Think carefully before marrying. Once you sign the marriage certificate, your spouse typically becomes a 50% owner of your properties. In the event of a divorce, she may claim a significant portion of your assets. If disputes arise, there’s a risk of false allegations, such as domestic violence or dowry demands. I've seen this happen to friends, and it’s been difficult for them. Be aware of the realities of marriage under Indian law. 😪😡

Wow kudos to the judge 🙏
she has asked the right question. why can’t the greedy and shameless married women earn herself? Why is she begging money from her husband if she doesn’t want to live with him? Seriously 6 lakhs per month in India to live? She is trying to steal US level salary in India for spending in rupees.
These feminists do not have common sense or self respect. They are detrimental to the society.

they try to hike the figure. 6 lakh/month= 72/annum. Lawyer's cut is 20,% that is 14 lakh.

Genuine judgement from the Judge however there are some men who despite of lakhs of income cannot provide for his wife basic necessity for her care and support. My friend was married to a narcissist, she left him and now she is struggling again.
