    I had it for few weeks now and really love it. One of the better phones I ever owned. No problem with fingerprint sensor. But the other stuff that bothers you a lot doesn't make no difference to me.

      I agree to it. It is something that bothers someone who's a geek and needs full access over the device. The problem is with chinese manufacturers. They don't put any additional effort at all in software management.

    I dont share the same opinion at all, sometimes we do bad choices and i think you bought the phone just because you like the shape of it or so.
    First the finger sensor works very very good in my 18t, probably you configurated your fingertip at the top and youre using it with the non registered part of your finger (side), second i bought the phone for what he has been designed for, in my case to work with, to go over 4x4 trips, excalating, camping and so, and it overfilled my expectations in every single aspects. I needed a thermo camera, so thats the best option in the market within the rest of the features it has that i also needed.
    If it doesnt had a camera like that, i probably pondered other equipment, if it doesnt had a battery like this and very very fast charging, or a micro camera as this one that i also need for work, i wouldnt chose it just because i just liked the apearence. This is my oppinion that worth what it worth, from someone that need a very very rugged phone that wouldnt buy for example an iPhone expecting it to last wen i let it droop 10 times a day.
    Recording a phone call is not even allowed here as most of the countries mb thats why you cannot do it at this one, thats something i didnt bought the phone for, i dont do it, so its not frustrating at all for me, and most likly neither 95% of those who watched your video.
    At the end, with all the features that this phone has, i deeply recomend it to everyone that wants a long term phone that has 12gb ram expansive to 17gb ram and 256gb rom expansive to 2TB, 120hz screen almost unbreakable that will be a very reasonable phone for several years at a very low price.
    With all respect, Its very unfair to be posting such a comment about this phone for those who search this type of phone for the usage that it has been built for. I think you should reformulate it somehow.

      The phone recording is allowed if both parties consent and I need it coz it is very difficult for me to keep track of venues, date, time and cost finalized for multiple clients. Finger sensor is elongated rather than being rounded and that is why it has lesser surface area and hence gives relatively slower responses.
      I did not really say anything bad about the build of the phone, all I have told is about features available and optimisation for user experience.

      he probably bought the phone for a wrong reason. 1 is to look for minor faults and talk bad about the phone. 2. is to try persuade other people not buy the phone. i believe there is no cellphone in this world that can do everything you might want. just like iPhone you can not add SD card for external storage. each phone was designed differently. i have ordered mine because i work in harsh environment. sensor, root and voice recorder he is talking about are not needed at all for me.

    Long time Ulefone user here: These phones have a lot of quirks and are very unpolished (although they do actually tend to fix some or most of them later on), and after a while tend to get screen issues like not registering touch or randomly registering input which is extremely annoying. I do however still put up with it all because of the battery life, decent durability, and the fact that I can get dirt cheap replacement parts and then replace them using only screwdrivers.
    Edit: Also, internally they have a chassi, meaning screen replacement is made by simply pushing on the back of the screen making that replacement extremely easy as well.

    I have this phone. And the fingerprint sensor works very quickly and reliably. It unlocks Quickly EVERY time . I agree that the date can’t be removed on the home screen. It doesn’t allow me to remove the date from the Home Screen. But that is a minor inconvenience. It’s not perfect. But it’s pretty good. It doesn’t really have bloatware . It’s mostly stock Android.

    • @fusionmaniagroup
      @fusionmaniagroup  ปีที่แล้ว

      True about bloat ware. I've somehow managed to root the phone but it is useless. You can't remove system apps and replace them with better ones, neither can you install any custom ROM to enable Google assistant on locked screen. It has good things but is a deal breaker for not having basic facilities including google assistant not working on locked screen.

    • @dmandman9
      @dmandman9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@fusionmaniagroup Each person likes what they like. But I really don’t care about that because I pick up the phone, my thumb hits the fingerprint scanner . And it unlocks instantly every time, and I can then use Google Assistant. I think you got a defect as far as the fingerprint sensor is concerned because everyone else had the same experience that I’d did in that it works perfectly and quickly. I guess I’d feel differently if I was the type to want to root a device. But I generally use them as they are. I do WISH they’d send an update to allow me to at least change the date display to time and move it to the top of the screen . But I’m not hopeful. Many of these brands only send one or two updates that fix major bugs. Other than that, they don’t really update. That’s the one major flaw with these Chinese phone makers

    thank you for this video! You save me to use money in this phone! I had a blackview with many problems that I don't even want to remember and I thought maybe it was the brand and I wanted to try Ulefone because having a mobile that doesn't break is very tempting. The truth is that all these companies do not solve the problems that arise because they do not have workshops or headquarters in any country. They sent me blackview parts to fix it myself and the mobil had so many problems that to the end I giving the phone away. lost money for nothing

    • @fusionmaniagroup
      @fusionmaniagroup  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the only purpose is to buy a phone that does not break, then you should buy this phone. It does not break and that is true. Hardware is all good. But the software has issues...like the Google Assistant will not work on locked out screen, call recording not being available, not being able to use third party rooted/full version apk files as the phone will keep on restarting randomly, not a good experience of restoring data from previous device.... For rugged phones, it really is good. I'd say buy it if OS and optimisation does not matter..

    Thanxs for this video , You save me swithing to Ulefone power Armorur 18t .... I have Doogee S98 Pro, I am satisfied now . The thermal imager does a great job of checking for lack of insulation and other things, a very good camera. Night vision camera ok, good outside and inside. Memory good enough. The main camera is not bad, but not great. The biggest problem is the screen of the phone, lack of colors and refreshing very bad, compared to my last phone of the same price it is a poor screen. but he didn't buy this phone for himself. Thermal camera, night vision camera, large battery, water dust and shock resistance are the main reason I have it. it's a tool in my hands... For the price it's amazing, well worth phone. Thanx again to stopping me :P

    Mate I think you bought the phone for the entirely wrong purpose. You wanted all those features you probably should have stuck to Samsung or one of the main brands. As you say in your video it is or video it is a brick but most of the advertising around of the advertising around this device is for its ruggedness not for its software or anything like that. I've had mine for about 3 weeks now , I know it does have a couple of bugs here and there but the fingerprint reader is not one of them. You need to check if your fingers because if your fingers are unusually dry or Wet you will have trouble. By this I mean when you set the fingerprint if your finger is dried out and then when you go to use it and your finger is a little bit moist it won't work. this could be because of the weather conditionst. This common for all phones including my Samsung Galaxy note 20 Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra. If I was a particularly humid day My fingerprint sensor wouldn't recognise my finger and if it was a really low humidity day and my skin was extra dry The sensor wouldn't recognise it. When I set my fingerprints I always make sure that my finger is not dry By using a little moisturiser rubbed in to whatever finger I need to use. My fingerprint sensor is super responsive I am entirely overwhelmed with how responsibility overwhelmed with how responsibilities. The battery is excellent it'll give me up to 5 days of use Because I don't use the phone for everything I do as I have other devices. I chose this phone because I'm sick of Samsung phones cracking there curved edge screens even when even when using an autobox defender case. I work in a industry where the phone is going to get to beaten around delete all my expectations. As for customising the screen you can use And aftermarket app from Google play to customise virtually. No you can't route the phone but personally I don't think it would be worth rooting at anyway as its processor is not as its processor is not that great.. The only thing that I really need to be of better quality was it was the camera but I can live with that but I can live with that by going back to the old days and making sure the old days and making sure I have a good digital camera a good digital camera with me when I need to take good photos need to take good photos. I'd be happy to buy both phones off you but but it's possible .
    Another thing I'm very impressed with the phone is the lack of blotewear. So I'm not sure what bloke where you are referring to.My last point is that voice to text is outside is outstanding. It's one of the best it's 1 of the best voice to text systems I have used. Of course to write-up to the note 20 ultra and none of them with the accuracy of the voice to text on the Armour 18T.
    Like I said perhaps you've chosen the wrong type of phone For your needs.
    Anyway thanks for for the video it's probably the only negative probably the only negative video I've seen on the phone Hopefully you can get the issues sorted out or it's probably better to go back to the xiao MI.

      Glad it's meeting your needs. This is the only video coz the other users are not users but just testers and most likely paid commission to promote the brand. They have misled by providing partial information... They didn't say anything wrong, correct...but they didn't divulge the complete information which comes under providing partial information for monetary gains :-)
      Say, if you're buying a new blender which is irreparable, but works well and you pay 1k for that and then it gets damaged in 2 months and then you get to know that it is actually irreparable but nobody told that and all reviews just boasted about it hiding information :-)
      $900+ phone being a let down....is indeed heart wrenching 😊🙂
      M glad the phone is meeting your expectations.. 🎉🎂

    Sounds to me like you did not do proper research on rooting the Media Tek SOC chipsets. They are very hard to root and not just that but asking any phone manufacture how to root their device, you will almost always get the same response NO!. You should rename this to "My Opinion of the Power Armor 18t". Ulephone is one of the better rugged phone companies out there. We actually use the phones in this capacity and they always supply a steady stream of parts as needed. We don't need to root the devices to record phone calls.

    Bro, I believe that the bloatware you have on your PA 18T is from a Chinese/India ROM.... mine does not had that much bloatware... Mine was almost stock Android. However, I do complain about the camera which is cr@p quality.... I feel like using an old 2012 phone camera.... It's terribly slow, leading to blurry shots or just bad quality overall... The battery is amazing, however, the phone does heat quite a lot while charging. Screen is nothing to be proud of... And the software lacks polishing... I've got a bug where I turn on the phone and instead of showing me the dots for the pattern unlock... It showse a blank screen and this makes it unable to unlock the phone unless restarted... Honestly, I do not recommend this phone... Shame... It has some special features which made it appealing, but, the camera and software are definitely not up to par.

      Not in Ulefone OS
      It is stupendous to the core. You install a third party launcher and the phone will start hanging, you root the phone and install mod apps it'll keep on restarting until you configure the denylist in magisk for each single third party mod app, even after you configure denylist the phone will still lag and even fail to start basic apps like Facebook instantly, third party call recorder doesn't work either on this device no matter whichever one you install, you cannot install a custom ROM because it then takes you in the bootloop so you're stuck with the frustrating stock ROM which isn't customizable for even one bit..
      They don't care about OS optimisation and user friendliness. They've got no direct line, just an email to which they don't pay a heed.

The Armor 18T made for professionals, and designed to be rugged, which means probably it is almost impossible to damage its hardware and even its SOFTWARE. Never mind how hard you tried to destroy its system. Bad news for you: this phone is not for rooting (simply not needed to root). If you want to root-risking some devices, then better you choose a cheaper toy. By the way my 18T fingerprint reader is lightning fast. Best luck!

    • @fusionmaniagroup

      Nope. Absolutely wrong. Software testing is totally different from hardware. Unfortunately my friend you've never experienced an optimised system.... I'd suggest you to try POCO F1 on MIUI 12 and compare both. POCO F1 and MIUI 12 has been the best handset and official OS I have ever tested intrinsically.
      I never felt the need to root that phone despite it being a Snapdragon chipset.
      That OS has every single thing in every simple and optimised way. Unfortunately, we're not on the same page.
