Bad luck with the exhaust man. I hope you get it sorted. Your videos are much better with a bit of interaction from you. Can I suggest you do more of that 🙏👍
I’m so happy to hear that. I really enjoy interacting. I never know if people like the no talking more! I’ll be interacting from here on out. Thanks for the suggestion 🙏
Well....that didn't go as planned, eh?. Crap! Going with the OEM gaskets sounds like the best plan. I'd wrap those areas of the headers that are most prone for scratches or rubs with the Band-Aid stretchy gauze. That way it will prevent any further damage. And once on it should peel right off. If any residue is left citrus clean or any household degreaser will work. I'll used this method before. You can also wrap the pipe itself in prone spots. Less scratches the better, eh? Don't worry so much about the gold and black parts having little marks, that's what touch-ups are for. You'll get all this up and running!...Soon!. Good luck bud!
Hopefully that solves the issue! Yeah that’s a good idea. I’ll probably just put shop towels around it while installing. I appreciate the input! Can’t wait to get it on there 🤞
@ anytime. Really that exhaust looks really good and that’s coming from my experience with some of the best stuff out there. I had on my A racebike a “full” ti exhaust from Muzzy. I put full in quote because of the four way collector was stainless, I called and said wtf?! They said it was because the ti setup kept cracking 🤨 I’ve had Sato ti with carbon can and Hindle, Sudco, so on. I wrenched for Teds Harley, Honda in Alton IL, and Widman HD, Sazuki in St Louis Mo. I built many times over several of my race engines and my brother who also raced when I did.
That’s awesome 👏 did you ever have a zx7r on the track? This year it’s my goal to finally get a track. It’s a dream of mine to get in the track. Now, I won’t be taking THIS zx7r to the track because I’ve spent too much time and have lots of sentimental value in this particular one. But I’m thinking of getting a second zx7r for a track specific bike.
@ oh god. It’s what I started racing, and I wish I had started in the light weight class. It’s the right way, so much more fun on a little bike. You learn the craft much easier and faster. Rz350, or sv650. If you could find a CB-1 Honda or equivalent. Find the racing organization that runs your area WERA runs most everywhere and CCS. I ran in those two until my local club MCRA started running their own races.
We ran into some problems, but don't worry I will get it solved! :)
Nice system. For some reason, I missed all the other videos. Now I will go back and watch them :) Great to see that you are working on the 7.
Osu sensei! How have you been?! I hope all is well with you 🙏
@taylorjhaug all good here, had a decent riding season, now the waiting game 😔
Amen to that. I will be capturing more riding footage this year, so I’ll be posting that. Maybe I could make my way up to Canada this year 😎
@@taylorjhaug that would be awesome, let's make it happen
Sounds great! I will have my vlogging setup by then as well so we’ll capture some great shots!

Yeah I understand that. I’d love to get an old zrx400. Or even a new zx4rr. That would be would id like to get ideally.
yeah it looks like they put the wrong thickness gaskets for your bike. will be good to see how it sounds when you get it installed
I hope so! 🤞 Sound clip will be coming ASAP when I get the first start!
"If the only difference is the thickness of the exhaust, another option is to replace the studs with longer ones
Mmm interesting. Ive never done that! How hard is it to replace the studs?
Could you imagine if everything went smoothly. 😊 this is my other account "Darko"
Then there would be no fun 😆
