Nice job getting it installed finally. I am withyou and think the green houses look good. modifying anything is personal and just because you dont like it doesnt mean it ruined it. the bike is yours and you like it so that is good. I f that viewer owned this bike they could always change the hoses back to what they wanted

Well said! Thanks for the feedback. OG bikes are cool when they are unmolested, low miles, etc. This bike has higher miles and is no garage queen...it will be ridden in all it's glory. For that, some mods are necessary ;)

Looking good bud!!!...That comment posted about ruining the bike with the green hoses is just lame. If you're a bone stock guy, then u go bone stock. If you're all about making it your own bike, style, flavor?..then the green is a nice touch! Well done man! I made a few calls phone about those header bolts, and unfortunately no one can give me a definitive answer because their data base for the specs don't go back that far. But the general response I got from almost every service department said mating a 1/4 surface turn should suffice. That should do the trick. Looking forward to seeing the fairings back on and hearing the pipe. Good job!

Yeah, I like my flavor ;)
Weird that I can't get a definitive answer on the header bolts. I am sure what I torqued to is just fine. I will just make sure I check them after running a few heat cycles and rides this spring. I am looking forward to the first start!

🇧🇷 Olá Taylor! I found a reference of 44 N-m in the Kawasaki manual.
FRAME: Rear Frame Bolts and Nuts
    TORQUE: 44 N-m ▪︎4,5 Kg-m ▪︎ 33 ft-lb
    🤗 and good work

      That’s for the header bolts??

@@taylorjhaug It is described as being for the frame bolts and nuts, remembering that the exhaust nuts work under heavy conditions.

    Looking good mate.
As for the exhaust hanger bolt…angle grinder. No need for a new bolt.
