To correct the moderator, the US does not have a one stop shop for annual returns…in the US, these are two separate docs, annual return is filed with your local secretary of state and the other is income tax return which is filed with the IRS.
Thanks for this,...although I wish this was posted last week. I needed this information desperately. It is difficult trying to get through to them on the phone. After numerous attempts and long holds I finally was able to get through to them and received this same information. The agent was very kind and patient but this would have saved me a lot of phone credit😅. Great information Winthrop. Appreciate this channel a lot.
Thanks to the moderator for raising the suggestion that annual return be merged with tax returns. So inefficient to separate them. Always wondered why they refuse to combine them in the first place, making the process so cumbersome. Hoping they will change this soon.
I have no idea about that one stop shop in the US, because I had to registered one place and my tax is somewhere else so I have no idea about that one stop shop.
