If your trucks a Cummins it's a 47RH anly gas engines use the 46RH/RE. What you got truck engine wise ?
@@JasonY02 it’s actually either a 727 if it was non intercooled or an A518 which is a beefy 46RH

Thank you for stating the FACTS. Some people don't like the TRUTH. These transmissions leave a LOT to be desired. A strong manual is the way to go!
@@wesscarey4475 Stock they do. Built? Not much better. Only downside is towing heavier, there just aren’t enough gear splits to be in a happy place.

By far it looks to have the cleanest interior I've see to date on a truck. I can't see the floor but if you've gone through the trouble of Reupholstering the headliner and door panels it's got to nice inside.

I’ve done a couple of 90’s Honda builds. Never have messed with diesel engines, but I’ve driven a few, & let me say that’s some quality shifting, and quick too. Nice build, the things you’ve done so far look very clean.

I diesel swapped my FSJ, om606 in front of an GM NV4500, s200 turbo, mechanical pump. Amazing how good these diesel trucks can sound! I drive it daily and push it hard. While I might not have the torque this monster does, mine will wind out nearly twice as far.
Om606's are awesome! It's definitely on the list of future builds. I almost bought one a few weeks back.

@@Chris-km8wy it's just some fake leather/ vinyl I bought on Amazon. Headliner is just glued on and the door panels I removed and recovered the panel and stapled on the back side.

Im used to the clunky zf6 in my f250, that nv4500 looks smooth as butter
It's not as smooth at it looks but it does have a fresh rebuild.

All the front end components are new and its a 2wd so it drives pretty well. Steering gear is original though.

I put a 4 inch mbrp turbo back on mine and she crackles when I honk on it, might be the he 351 barking back but gets me hard as a rock.

This he351 is far from stock but it never gets over 1200 degrees no matter what. I've only got it set at 25psi right now.

There will be a video in the spring going more in depth. I've been busy lately and the mod list has grown significantly. The hp now is about twice what it is in the video.

Our builds are very similar. Be interesting to see dyno numbers!!
Turbo spools just as fast as the stock 351. I love it. Once I get the injectors it will definitely hit the dyno.

@@jamesappel1928 what tach are you running, cause I used to have the original crank sensor but removed it cause i got rid of the ecu and installed a no notch fluidampr.

I have a question, I have one of these trucks, but it has the 5spd in 2 wheel drive, do you know if I can just change out the tail shaft to make it accept a transfer case?
Need to swap the tail housing and output shaft.
