Love this, as ever. You are the only person I can listen to when I am stressed or upset. Just one small thing - probably a slip of the tongue on your part - Beatrix Potter didn't write Wind in the Willows (re the badger) - that was Kenneth Grahame. Best wishes always x
Hazelknits is just the best at barely tonal yarn, it’s got so much depth and they wear like iron! Also thank you for giving that little gnome man a chance, he served his time and he’s a free gnome now. Very free, but not in front of any children.
With the crochet slippers, in crochet we specify tfl (through the front loop) or tbl (through the back loop) 😊 great idea with going through one loop to get it to turn faster!
Oh my! I just found you. What fun you are. I don’t do all the things you do, but you are so fun, and have a great personality. Will be seeing you again.
I was Uber absorbed in tailoring a herringbone crochet cardigan for my Son when I had to rewind and rewatch the section with the Gnome and his woodland pal. It burns when you laugh so hard you choke and coffee shoots out of your nose at 7 am. I blame you entirely.😂 I'll relocate to Norway with you as long as we can be neighbors with Arne and Carlos.😊
Wow, Miss Amy. All of your new fabrics for the bags are absolutely amazing. Love love love them all. If i didn’t make my own project bags I would have to buy one of each! 😂🎉😅. 🤗 ❤
You are so entertaining! You had me laughing so when you started in about the little man with the mustache fabric…🤣🤣. I am making note of checking out Center Grove HS craft show next year. Sounds great. This Saturday, November 18th, Westfield High School band is hosting their annual Christmas Bazaar 9am-3pm. I live only 15 minutes from there and have never attended, but I plan to go this year. There are at least 160 vendors and all crafts must be homemade items only. I believe they serve breakfast, have prize drawings through out the day and offer shuttle service from the parking lots. I ran into you at the Wool Gathering and spoke with you for a few minutes, so if you decide to check out this bazaar, I will say hello again if I happen to see you!
Looking forward to seeing how your slippers felt. I have made 35 pairs of the fiber trend clogs over the years. Now with my new washer I can’t get them to felt properly.
Oh yes!! We are only a minute into the vlog, but I have to say, I LOVE THE NEW GLASSES!! Would you share where you found these frames?? Ok, back to continue the vlog! Thanks, Micki
Amy Beth - Hi!!!! Where did you get your wonderfully precious llama (or sheep?) stoneware mug???? Love you! And the murdery-dude looks a little bit like John Wayne Gacy and a little bit like Mr. Whipple, the guy who says "Don't squeeze the Charmin!" Hugs
You could make a quilt out of all your favorite fabrics! Also how do you make your extra deep afterthought heel? Those little animals are so cute. If only there were more hours in the day or maybe more days in the weekend. Thank you for a lovely visit
I described a few episodes back, but I really should do a standalone episode….Basically I measure the top of my foot from toe to bend at the ankle, and I cut my heel in at that measurement. Then, work afterthought heel even until it’s the length of your foot minus the length of your doe decreases. Work your heel decreases just like a toe and graft closed.
Apologies, I did throw up a little graphic to clarify that I meant Wednesday the 15th…..I haven’t had Friday-only updates for yonks, but that wrote chant just kicks in occasionally!
Oooh! Thank you for that suggestion! Lots of folks suggest blue jeans, but I’m fairly confident this yarn will bleed (even with “fixing” tricks, indigo is prone), and I was afraid of ruining the jeans. Tennis balls are a great alternative!
I absolutely agree with you about the love of a good house cross sectioning! My son and I read “Something From Nothing” by Phoebe Gilman earlier this year and it has a really sweet picture on the bottom of each page of the mice in the house and how their home develops throughout the book. I highly recommend checking it out - it is such a sweet book 🤍
I'm 0 seconds into this episode but still had to pause and say how excited I am that there's a new episode. Yay, Amy Beth! Always a treat.
Awww, thank you!
I’d take multiple videos of you just analyzing creatures and humans in different mediums. That was quite the treat and it just tickled me so much.✨❤️🙌
The busy world of richard scarry was one of my favs as an”kid”😅.
I am distracted by the absolute awesomeness of your glasses!!! They are funky!
Loved the poison color in the vest. It really shouldn't work, but it does. So good!
Your bags are fantastic!
My goat Yule bag has arrived and he does not disappoint!
I LOVE listening to you describe your bags! 😂 🧶🧶🧶
The fabric on all the bags are so beautiful even the one with the prison tattoo! Lol I love Beatrix Potter thanks for showing the book.
please, oh please, make more of the foxy mushroom bags...!!! 💚🦊🍄#fancylining
If you can't, please post the links for the fabric! I need some for my stash!

You are a splendid human.

I thoroughly enjoy yours musings ❤
You are killing me with those bags! I do need another large bag…🤔
Grateful for you! Thanks for another great episode!

Thank you❤️
Best prints ever!
This was such a fun episode 🥰 Your lighting was especially pretty this morning!
A prison tear?!? I can’t breathe I’m laughing so hard! The bags are gorgeous and you are so talented, and witty!
Klompen is the word for the traditional wooden clogs from Holland😁thanks for another nice podcast.
That makes perfect sense!

You should be able to buy liquid latex in the US as well, you use it to "paint" on a non-slippery sole which also helps with durability.
Can’t wait to see slippers post dryer. Very adaptable inclusion!

Oooooh, that is very tempting!
I love your Academic Vest colour combination. The poison colour really does make it fantastic!
Looking forward to seeing how your slippers felt. I have made 35 pairs of the fiber trend clogs over the years. Now with my new washer I can’t get them to felt properly.
also, for puzzles, I use an old white board. It's texture isn't grippy and I can put it away more easily than if it is right on my dining table
Ooooh! That’s a great idea!
I just found you. It was great. I live in Germantown ohio. We are neighbors. See you next episode
Thank you❤️
Have you seen the Thorne Rooms at the Chicago art museum? If you love little rooms, these are the best!
I have not! I will add it to my “to see” list!
Wonderful episode with so many inspiring project ideas! Thank you
Gorgeous bags and am planning on getting a couple for gifts (maybe another for myself!).
Oh!! I love your sweater!!
Enjoy your individuality!!!
you just gave me an idea! I'm gonna start a list in my planner with the things I resist buying and give myself a sticker :)
we have to documents small successes !
Brambley Hedge books are so beautiful. You just want to be a mouse!
Just loved this episode Marybeth and just purchased the sweater bag “golden girls sweater” because you’re terrific and just what I needed today 😃👏🏼🥰
Love the podcast!! It bigs me tho that most xmas fabric is smowy etc. here in Australia, out xmas is in the moddlenof our 100 degree summers
And it seems likely that everything that isn’t is a very specific “whacky tropical Santa-on-vacation vibe.”
Oh yes!! We are only a minute into the vlog, but I have to say, I LOVE THE NEW GLASSES!! Would you share where you found these frames?? Ok, back to continue the vlog! Thanks, Micki
Oh thank you….I got them a while ago, but I haven’t been switching out my glasses as often….They’re from Zenni!
Totally missed Center Grove this year 😑

He DEFINITELY has mr. Whipple vibes! My mug was a gift, and I apologize, but I have no idea who the potter is.
Annalee. My mom used to buy them and if I could upload a photo, I'd share the Valentine mouse I still have... ~1:03
Yes! Annalee! Thank you!
❤❤❤

Love your podcast as always! Question though…. November 15th is a Wednesday. Did you mean Friday, November 17th?????
Apologies, I did throw up a little graphic to clarify that I meant Wednesday the 15th…..I haven’t had Friday-only updates for yonks, but that wrote chant just kicks in occasionally!
❤🤗
Put a couple of tennis balls in the washer with your slippers, that will help felt them!

Must have her!
Make a copy of murderer dialog and send to designer. I laughed out loud.
Hope you didn't mind me saying that, its probably my age. No thats ageist, I'm just a nitpicker. Sorry!
