  • I spent a Sunday morning exploring this wonderful, very popular Rail Trail. Southern Ontario has an abundance of trails that follow the routes of former railways. This trail has some beautiful scenery and interesting history.

I enjoyed your video and look forward to riding this trail again after a 15 year break. I used to park in a corner of a mall parking lot in Hamilton. Can someone suggest the best place to park near the trail head? Thanks for sharing 🙂

It is a nice trail, when we are pressed for time. We usually start in Jerseyville, so we miss Deunds hill. Good job on the video and comments!

I’m 63 been cycling most of my life, I’ve owned racing bikes ,mountain bikes, now seeing these gravel bikes like the one you own I’m thinking of getting one, soon as I can afford it. hopefully it will be my last bike I own. Nice bike you got there.

Thanks Raymond. Strictly speaking it is an endurance road bike, but it does cope very well with gravel.

Great video - is there a resource online for other rail trails in Southern Ontario?

@@thecardiaccyclist5448 Thank you! I appreciate the comment about rest days as well. I love to get out every day if I can, but that first day back after a few days off is always a strong day!

    Hi Andrew
Are you still riding on zwift? Maybe we could set up some rides? That would be fun!

I don't ride on it as often, but meeting for a ride would be great.
