if you just add the pins one after another while looping it is easier to wrap because there is no pins in your way. (go around lowest pin to the right up, set pin, wrap around to bottom, go left up and add pin again to get back to the lowest one and repeat)

This is amazing.. my major issue is the dried glue gives imperfection to the outcome. How do you get rid of those excess glue here and there
Thanks, try to use less amount of glue
A moist cotton swab does the trick for me. Better quality paper allows you to do this without destroying the form.
how long are the strips you're using? I'm brand new to quilling and not sure how lon g my strips should be. Thank you for your help :)
