I’ve been binging on your videos since I found your channel. I’m new to quilling and your demonstrations are very helpful. Please continue making them! ❤
Thank you so much for watching my videos, I appreciate it so much! I am in the process of making a few videos. I'm sorry I take such a long time to make them.
I had this tool long time ago but I didn't know how to use it, you made the idea very easy to me to follow. Thank you very very much for your lovely video, please keep it up.
Thank you so much for this video! You really helped me with 3 things! 1 was how to do those beautiful flowers, 2 was how to use that tool, and 3 was not to be afraid to use the crimper. AND you inspired me to get back to quilling after not doing any for too long. Thanks again, and you did a great job of explaining! You are a rockstar!
You are most welcome Roxann! I'm so happy to know that. Thank you so much for the lovely comment. Have a great time quilling and making beautiful creations! Hugs!
Nice job Get yourself a small lazy Susie (little turn table) and put a cork circle on it. You can have the Husking board in it, or just stick small pins in it for other designs. It is a wonderful tool.
This is beautiful! After watching your video I feel I can make this flower. And I love your ingenuity using the bottle bottom--it is perfect for this job! Now to try it for a card I am making this weekend. Thank you!
¡¡Hermosa flor!!...
hi i like your video you explain very well, good job for your first time, and to help you the little metal they call it : quilling metal pin good job hope yo see more of your work
Azlina, thank you so much for sharing with us! Your videos are so easy to follow! I made your flower this morning. Thanks also for recommending the crimper, quilling board and the idea of using a bottle bottom.
very nice...iam into paper cutting when i bump into this quilling in youtube...much more colorful and artistic...vibrant and flow endlessly..love ur flower like the rest of the quilling works in youtube...i hope i can flourish my crafts in quilling..tytytyty
I know it's an older video. I'm not new to quilling but not really that good at either. lol. My petals just look messy, so advice on how to maybe be better, would be great. I really love your tutorials, they are the BEST so far. Ty much for showing every step, it really helps.☺
Thank you Azlina yet another great how to. Please don’t try wire jewelry! I’d hate for you to like it and loose your great quilling video! Happy Canadian thanksgiving! I’m thankful for great kind soul like you, willing and patient to make these how to videos and share their tips and tricks.(like using the bottom of a mineral bottle to have a support to mould the flowers) cheers Annie
Hi Annie! Thank you so much for watching my tutorial. Truly appreciate it a lot! I'm so happy you enjoyed it. Happy Thanksgiving to you too! It's always a pleasure for me to share with other quillers how I do my quilling. Actually I was thinking of doing some simple wire craft with the tool to decorate on my handmade cards. Like making sentiments. I've seen some people doing that, which I thought is so cool for cards. But not sure yet when. I promise I won't leave quilling for wire jewelry! Haha! Don't worry ok. Hugs from Malaysia! ;)
Anierlka Argueda..... ¡De nada! También compré la herramienta el mes pasado porque vi que otras quillers usaban esta herramienta para hacer otras flores diferentes. Es tan interesante.
Tamara Colman....Yes I only found out about this tool last month after watching other quillers using it. It's so interesting as we can make so many different quilling shapes with it. I'm happy that you can learn from my video on how to use this tool too.
Thank you for your great videos. You said on one of the videos that you use a certain length and width of paper strips. Do you cut your own or purchase precut? Can you give me the dimensions again?
Most of the time I would cut my own quilling papers using a manual paper shredder. Nowadays I also use a pasta machine to cut my quilling papers. The paper shredder cuts 3mm x 297mm quilling papers and my pasta machine cuts 5mm and 2mm quilling papers. All with 297mm lengths.
I love your video, the flower is beautiful! However what's the purpose of the crimping tool? Does it make a difference if it's used or not for this project?
Thank you so much. Actually there is a difference, except it's not that obvious because the paper I used is a bit thin...80gsm. If maybe I were to use thicker paper like 120gsm or 160 gsm, the crimping would be more clearly seen.
Hi Azlina, this is Vilasini, I subscribed long back, I use to watch ur videos, excellent, very neat work , patiently teaching us, is marvellous. I tried some flowers also roughly. One request, pls mention : how many strips, length & breadth in writing before u start the video, for the learner’s like us whenever v get into ur videos for us it will be easy. Pls small request.
LIKE YOUR VIDEO YOU SPEAKS VERY CLERLY AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND, l'LL TRY LIKE YOU DID, HOPE YOU'LL UNDERSTAND, BECAUSE IAM FRENCH; THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Hi Joyce! I did mentioned in the video that each quilling strip I used is 3 milimeter (wide) by 297 milimeter (long). 3 milimeter is about 1/8" wide. 5 milimeter is 1/4" wide. Hope that helps.
Hello, I would have liked to know how much tape and colors you know how to use to make a petal. Because I do too and I find it beautiful, this color. thank you for your reply.
I live in Canada and all quilling strips come in inches so I have to convert when I convert 297mm to inches I get 11 inches so that is way I asked how long is each quilling strip Joyce
Oh I understand now.......next time I make a quilling video I'll be sure to write the measurements and show it in the video itself so that it's easier for everyone to understand. Thank you again for letting me know about that and helping me improve my quilling videos. Hugs from Malaysia. :)
I adore you! I could watch you forEVER!!! No annoying music and from start to finish! That turned out sooooooo pretty!!
Thank you so much Gaye! Truly appreciate your comment a lot. :)
